  1. Oh yeah. Cedar Fair thinks Kingda Ka is a threat to the totally fine and operational Top Thrill 2. The raving success of that ride had led them to close Kingda Ka out of sheer vengeance and not because the ride concept has been a total disaster since opening, Makes sense.
  2. Sorry (not sorry) for the double post, but… Happy Winterfest, KIC!
  3. Can’t wait! Always my favorite time of year at the park!
  4. Could not agree more. But unfortunately, I think it “works” to well for the park for them to make any major changes.
  5. I mean…. Let’s see this happen.
  6. I was talking about Action Zone. Not sure what that has to do with TR:TR. But the theme and IP were, and would still be horribly out of place. So, hopefully they won’t do that. Pretty bold claim to make without having experienced it. Cedar Fair isn’t really to blame. Huss, the ride’s manufacturer, created a faulty product that literally tore itself apart. The ride’s removal was inevitable. You should check out the Defunctland video if you haven’t. Enjoyable if you’re interested in the subject.
  7. As opposed to what’s there now? A mismatched, hodge podge collection of thematically unrelated experiences? We’d be lucky if they decided to overhaul that whole section of the park. Should they do it right.
  8. A Gotham City retheme of Action Zone would be welcome.
  9. I’ll second this. More dark rides! Phantom Theater revival, DC, Peanuts, new ideas, etc. Let’s see a few!
  10. Haven’t made it to the Point (yet), but it’s still disappointing to see the lake of care and quality chain wide. I get that as long as people keep showing up, nothing will change. But where’s the pride in the “work”? Standards need to be higher and anti-consumer anything is obviously not the way to do it.
  11. Cracking up at the fact that the park “thinks” the massive steel coaster with a 300ft drop is family friendly. Family attractions may be a focus, but I’m sure thrilling coasters are on the horizon!
