Silver Dollar City is on my bucket list for 2025.

Silver Dollar City is absolutely worth the trip. Easily one of the best regional theme parks in the country. The park's Christmas event is amazing.

I'm personally waiting to see what their next major addition is before I plan a trip there. It's definitely on my bucket list for the next several years as well as other parks I'd like to hit up as well.

The other thing about SOB that makes it worse for me is that it practically had modifications done to it every year (including multiple modifications in single seasons) of its existence and still had the incidents and dwindling ridership, and on top of that, no company worth a crap (GCI, CCI, etc) would touch it and it all had to be done in house, including the loop removal work in 2007. Werner Stengel even designed SOB and I've heard he distances himself from it when it's brought up.

DJSkyFoxx, I have my page on Instagram as well. I haven't updated it in a long time. I'll keep that in mind and get back to it. I also run my page on mewe. Not too many people go on there, but it's very quiet as far as drama goes.

Just sad. It would be nice to have some clarity on what actually happened to it though. Scrap or storage?
