  1. After seeing the new options, I am also happy to have not bought anything yet. The new Regional Gold will be perfect for me, considering all I will be doing in regards to SF this season will be KI and SF:Great America primarily with many trips planned for both and it ends up saving me a decent amount of money. Even if its only a couple hundo or less in savings once all my add-ons are placed, that will still drop the monthly or will open me up to getting things I may not get on the pass otherwise.

  3. I would love to have prices go down. We took a family vacation for a week last summer, stayed at AKL with savannah view and had LL everyday. Yup, it was expensive. Yup, its was an EPIC vacation for all of us- one that we will not experience for a handful of years (or at least till PP/ Villains Land opens). Despite the cost, we would not have changed anything minus a couple transportation mistakes i.e. waiting for monorail from Contemporary to MK after 4th of July fireworks to catch bus back to AKL. Point being, it's basic supply & demand- until Disney can see a drop in park attendance trend or drop in resort occupancy, they have little motivation to change costs much. My daughters have planned a trip to Universal end of March. The cost of staying at Helios/ park tix etc. is on par with Disney cost.

  4. Case in point, my wife and I were kicking around the idea of a Cedar Point trip this summer. We have a one year old, so we’re still not sure if we’ll be able to swing it. If I bought one of the ultra confusing pass options with the all parks passport, etc. (specifically with the plan of visiting Cedar Point) I technically would’ve have lost money this week given the new Gold Pass park access, allowing us into Cedar Point.

  5. It's a smart play to wait and see before handing over your money so you know exactly what you're getting and what really ends up being the best deal.

  6. I wait to ride the Monster again, it feels like FOREVER since I've ridden it. I can't wait to ride it with my kids in the future.

  7. Wait until the upcoming August promotion 🤣 New for 2027 - if you have owned a pass in the last 5 years, you get a 2027 Prestige pass for free. No purchase necessary. And if you accept this free offer before labor day, we will throw in a season long Fast Lane as our special gift. I joke, but who knows what level they may go to....I think season long add-ons for free will probably be the next version....

  9. It shows how fast time goes... yeah it has been over a month since we've seen another Curtain Call video. I'd imagine we'll get another one sometime this month. Maybe even soon?

  10. Disney didn’t just name a new CEO. They picked a park guy. Why Josh D’Amaro taking the job feels like the right move—for fans, guests, and the future of Disney. https://themeparksbydon.com/josh-damaro-disney-ceo-park-fans/

  11. So I know what I’m buying. Barely a price difference. And in many cases, like this one, there’s often confusion about what’s being offered leading up to the beginning of the season. What do you care what I do with my money? What’s the price difference? Pretty insignificant.

  12. Great to hear that it's for sure coming back this season. I too am hoping for some more of the lights to be fixed and I personally think it would be cool if the pods were painted a different color and leave the main structure black. Guess we'll see

  13. I think it may be a combination of directions from corporate and unwillingness to make more posts than needed. I also noticed that this post didn't include a pass sale promotion. This post is so refreshing to see after what we had in 2025. I'd love to see some more color on the ride, though the presence of ride parts on the pad doesn't leave me too hopeful for that. One think I'm still hoping for is that we'll see some of the lights return to the ride even though the rotor is already installed without them.

  14. I really love that they posted about this. I always wonder why the park only promotes the newest additions when the supporting cast is still so strong. It's cool to see the park outwardly caring for something that makes the park unique and special.

  15. A Six Flags Season Pass is like a box of chocolates. You don't know what you're going to get.

  17. Every year it feels like they are restructuring the pass system and causing more confusion for pass holders of all kinds. I initially thought that as someone who purchased their pass during the MVP sale that my pass was going to be upgrade to Prestige, but then I re-read the article and confirmed that here. Although I wonder how many system glitches there could potentially be where those who bought their pass during the MVP sale get upgraded anyhow? And for those who bought Prestige passes already, I feel bad because there is nothing being upgraded or amended for them. I truly miss how simple it used to be to buy a pass and there weren't so many nuances along the way. Just when I feel like I have an understanding of how it works, they change it up again. And now I wonder how they will go about selling the pass add-ons. As in, will there be one set of add-ons for Silver passes? One set of add-ons for Gold passes ( regional only add-ons or APP level add-ons ) and then Prestige level add-ons? It's just. A lot. I realize they want so badly to seem like they are simplifying stuff, but instead they seem to be creating more confusion, questions and frustrations.
