^^ That sounds nice. Just not sure it goes with the overall area over there IMO. I'd love to have them back in Coney Mall. I feel the old time look goes well with the area. Also if needed they can shrink the size of Dino Alive. I am not sure why but KI's is the biggest I have seen. I have no idea if the attraction is popular anymore.

Do you they still have the 3rd train? I kinda hope they never ever remove AE. Growing up I loved it.

How would they theme those in x-base? I feel like x-base is an "extreme" area of the park. What about back where flight commander was? In Coney Mall?

I can see them just using this area for decorations. That leaves me guessing as to where would be a scenic route or area for the cars to traverse.

Must be a big Christmas tree they are putting there. Or maybe its some other " big" decorations for the wintertime. I guess they plan on keeping winterfest around for a while if they are putting footers in for it. If that is what they are for.

I love all the old logo's from before Paramount. Does anyone have access to all those old Logo's? I remember having a cup with all the rides and Logo's.

When I was there last summer it was terrible. Down the first hill into the loop that thing gave everyone whiplash. Walked off the coaster with a real bad headache. That's just my opinion though haha Also "Flying Cobra's" is bad too. So used to all these nice smooth B&M's and Intamins spoiled me!

Ahh I was going to say. That is terrible. Well I hope they figure out what happened and why so those families can have some information.

So they were warned by the manufacture and they did nothing about it?? That's crazy.

Just get a giga KI come on! haha

Just a thought. Why would they not want to save money and move 1 set of cars from CP. Freeing up land is always a play especially at CP. I would say they move them. They had 2! haha

Yeah I know I know. I am just an Intamin fan what can I say. My top 3 fav's are all Intamins. I just feel that newer B&M's are boring. Fury is good. Valravn, Gatekeeper are good but ehhh. I don't get hyped up to ride any of the B&M's like I do for Maverick, Mill Force or TTD.

I like the idea of bringing the cars back to KI. What kinda park needs 2 of them haha. CP can surely part with 1. I would like to see it where it use to be or close to it. Where could they put a track layout closer to Intl street? Maybe remove that show's pavilion near diamond back?

They'll probably relocate the antique cars from CP to KI to free up more space for CP to build another coaster. LOL
I wouldn't be mad at that haha. Ki gets the cars back and CP gets a coaster. Only thing is I don't think there is enough room for a coaster in either spot the cars are located in at CP. There could be a flat or some sort but CP has almost all the good ones that I know of. I'd like to see a Topple Tower at CP but someone said HUSS is in bad shape.

I have no idea then. I was reading an interview with some of the kids that were hurt. They said the last up swing before it came down and broke, They swung up way higher then normal.

Would any of those metals fail like that with some rust? I don't know metals like that haha

I need to point out the article does not state the issues but the video embedded in the page does. The ride also passed inspection and operated in North Carolina after these issues were addressed. Here are the issues as listed in the video. These all sound minor to me.
1. Repair damaged junction box
2. Secure all sweep components and hardware.
3. Eliminate the trip hazards from the decking
4. Properly secure wiring entering the deadmans switch
5. Properly install/secure controller cover
I would think the sweep components would be a big deal since the sweeps are part of the ride itself right? Not that it effected this accident or cause it. I hear them keep saying the sweeps connected to the gondola.

I hope they return. Growing up that was one of my favorite rides. CP could remove the one in FT ship it to KI and they have more room in their efforts to expand the FT part of the park. Hearing people toss around a stagecoach ride for FT at CP.

That really sucks if that is true. I really hope they change there minds. B&M are alright. If I want a real rush / thrill i'd go intamin. I know most of the time I am alone on the whole debate. I just hope to god to see another Intamin in a close CF park. Preferably CP or KI.

The question is not if but when. I mean come on Carowinds has a Giga haha. Also the question is Intamin or B&M. I know a lot of people dislike Intamin. But in my point of view being I have been on Fury 325 and Mill Force. Fury doesn't come close to Mill Force. Id love to have an Intamin Giga at KI.

Yeah For some reason they are rude on that site. Oh well. Of course if it was then that's a problem m they just tried to cover up. If it was metal fatigue, This goes back to how well do that go in depth for an inspection. These rides should go through an in depth inspection to catch this stuff before it happens. Metal is strong but it also ages.

Makes sense. Plus ridership is low so why do that right?
