Anyone notice on Flying High Dronez flyover of Area 72 that they have paved the area at the bottom of the small set of stairs angled towards maintenance area to look like walkway will eventually go under Orion for possible future Area 72 expansion? Very interesting.
I believe that ramp is actually left over from the former Firehawk exit ramp but yet I agree that they can easily expand area 72 (and they likely will)

VR on a giga coaster would be kind of bad imo, half the thrill of a giga coaster is seeing how high up you are

Yep! Where Firehawk used to make its final right turn into the station.. lol *cough*
edit, not intending to be mean spirited; just found it funny that we got confused.
__By the way, If anyone can play the video on a large TV or large monitor.. the video is in 4k.. maybe you can make it out. My screen ain't cuttin' it :p
Extremely hard to make it out,
on the top it appears to say the number 199 or 139
below that it appears to just be random numbers and possibly letters, rough guess 346C747T

DeWine made Ohio's two weeks.
Two weeks and then they will be reevaluated, no way he'll lift the lockdowns during the peak.

The banners just say a number (199 I believe) and some jumbled numbers and letters, I can’t make out what it means.

How do we know they are doing the theming for Orion? Were they on the Notice of Commencement?
Yes, they also worked on Mystic Timbers thematic elements (along with Holovis)

Somewhat interesting but the company that’s doing theming for Orion (Daniel Woodlands) is now producing gowns for the pandemic.

Knotts losing on average 500k a day doesn’t seem that unrealistic. Especially considering the Boysenberry festival was supposed to be going on.

A recently uploaded drone video shows that small metal covers have now been installed, it also shows banners / signs that have been installed in the barrier wall by the stairs.

Amusement insiders sometimes has decent analysis but also sometimes does not. I personally think he’s just being to harsh on Six Flags, he clearly has a bias against them. I don’t think Six Flags will go bankrupt, even if it did that’s not a major issue. They’ve managed to come out of it before.

If they wanted to accomplish that they should have torn out Italian Job

It was not repainted in 2014, although its opening was delayed like a month as it needed a replacement part.
I don't think Drop Tower has been repainted since 2006... which sounds crazy long, but Baynum Painting's website backs that up (even if it has the wrong Drop Tower pictured - https://baynumpainting.com/projects/2019/10/14/drop-zone)
Strange they would repaint it 7 years after it opened. Seems kind of quick.

I know this is probably a stretch but has Racer been repainted? It’s paint has seems bright.

It doesn't look good because people aren't listening. Stay at home and the problem will go away quickly. However the chance for that has long come and gone.
I think part of the problem with the stay at home policy is how many businesses have no deemed themselves essential... If we wanted an effective stay at home policy way more should be closed.

I’m not going to say it guarantees because I have not read the entirety of the document, have you?

Tell me how unemployment works for a 2 week stay at home period. Let me know how well it works for you and how soon it starts.
I haven’t looked into how Ohio’s new unemployment works but it seems to cover those who have been laid off due to coronavirus. As some politicians have suggested Universal Basic income would help greatly for those who have lost their jobs.

people having no money to pay their bills isn't good either
Being unemployed and collecting unemployment sounds better then working a $9 an hour job and getting sick and have to go to the hospital and get stuck with a $20,000 bill.

If restaurants were closed to carry-out and delivery, grocery stores would be a lot more crowded as the only food sources available.
Crowded grocery stores aren't good for social distancing.
People being crammed inside a fast food restaurants kitchen also isn’t good social distancing .

Other states and/or cities have shut down dine-in eating as Ohio has, which was last Sunday, but carryout and drive thru and delivery are still acceptable...

Guess I misread about other states closing restaurants. I still disagree with the decision.

A LOT of people that is how they get their food....some people simply don't cook and almost every meal is from a restaurant...
And with all the hoarding going on this is the only way some can get food now...
Most states have closed down the restaurants with similar orders. If you can’t cook a frozen meal then you have much bigger problems then this virus. 600,000+ people work in the food industry in Ohio. That’s 600k people who are now put at risk and potential carries. The grocery stores can support people eating at home. This stay at home order is by far the weakest of all those that have been issued in the states.

Restaurants essential? Don’t understand that.

Hong Kong is technically in China. However China lets them be more autonomous. Make no mistake Hong Kong is in China.

^ I don’t think anyone expected there to be a refund, but if the park is closed for a substantial amount of time I’d expect some sort of compensation, perhaps discounted 2021 passes.
