If you aren't stuck in it, or on the subject for that matter. Why you still here?

You’re able to be an enthusiast and still be able to realize different perspectives other then your own.

Well until we have a camera or the park is open we have zero updates about construction. Would you rather everyone sits in silence till this weekend? And then what after the park closes for the year? Can't post pictures that were taken via legal means to update the construction. I guess the only option is to watch Instagram waiting for an "official" update.

Don't know about y'all but I am super hyped. /s

There have been several post since the cameras have gone down that have shown construction progress and there will continue to be photos of construction with or without the camera. There’s no need to keep beating this dead horse & flooding this thread complaining & debating about the camera. If you want to keep doing that then it’d be better in my opinion to create a thread and discuss it.

We were there Sunday and it was closed pretty much all day.  The ride finally opened around 6:30 and we got in line with about an hour wait.  During that hour wait it broke down several times with one time resulting in a roll back.  After trying to wait it out we left the line without riding.

Crazy how much downtime the ride has, I don’t even want to imagine how much they’ve spent on supporting the ride.

Oh sweet! How much are they!?

I believe they’re 12 or 13 dollars. If you don’t buy them don’t be that concerned about being scared in the scare zones. For the most part you can see the scare actors coming and since there’s so many people walking through the paths you aren’t that likely to be targeted by them a lot.

So, I see the lift and the station track, but has the pre-lift track been laid? To explain what I mean, I’ll use Diamondback as an example. Coming out of the station, Diamondback has a piece of straight track before ascending the lift (and afterwards, there is one piece that curves to start the lift). For Orion, I see straight track (station track and afterwards) and the lift track, but I’m having trouble seeing the track piece where the straight track angles and connects with the lift. It should theoretically be there as the lift has been started, but it’s hard to see. Thanks!

    Yep it has been installed

Yeah that is ridiculous if the blocked off they close in spots first.  I would want to hear an explanation from management before criticizing, but if they are silent, then the words would fly.

Only excuse I heard was that management wanted it that way.

Sorry for the double post. After watching the cam for some time the park looks absolutely dead. Guess the cold weather is keeping people away?

I see what you are saying, but think about where else they could use those lights. Like for orion for example, or and extension to Racers lights.

The tracer lights are fairly dated (and not in the best looking condition) yeah they could put in on another ride but at this point it’d probably be easier to just order new ones.

They certainly took some artistic license, didn't they?

I’m sure they hired an outside firm to produce the commercials. I wouldn’t hold my breath though, Yukon Striker & Copperhead haven’t received these animated commercials sadly. I personally love them.

    edit - Found them - https://carbonvfx.com/

2nd edit - They wrote an article about Mystic Timbers editing process - https://carbonvfx.com/work/vfx/cedar-fair-mystic-timbers/

  10. I don’t see The Bat going anywhere soon, the park isn’t going to take out several rollercoasters so close to one another, I get I said the same thing about Vortex but I just don’t see it happening. Canada’s Wonderland  maintenance team sounded like they were committed to keeping The Bats brother supported so I can only hope Kings Island maintenance team feels the same way.
