  1. I stumble across them as they're gonna help with creating a brand new Extreme Haunt Maze like what they did with the Conjuring. They straight up say that their first maze they're be working is a Jason Lives maze. No like or inspire. Jason straight up. So here I am, throwing in the rumor towel that is guaranteed to be the next extreme maze this season.

So why are the web cam links from the home page down and have been for a long time?

This is also true on the Cedar Point site.

Yet I found a site that does show all cameras and a weather map for each that works.

    It was up for me.

^^I'd like to see the park reopen that red roof building in some form. For those who remember, what was that building originally? Imo it would be a good location for the park to offer some sort of gem mining activity.

That's one of the reason why a Vekoma Madhouse is needed for it.

I feel the line will be the story of this ride this whole season. I think we can expect a full queue for it everyday this season including weekdays. I even think the extended portion will be used most of the season as well.

Hopefully if this is the case that the park and corporate will look at it and see the value of indoor attractions and look to do something in the Crypt building and/or Action Theater in the future that doesn't involve Haunt.

    Vekoma Madhouse for Crypt

Ok another new KI dark ride idea has popped into my head and now I must share it with all of you.

A space themed dark ride could fit in Area 72 if the haunt barn and maintenance building were relocated. There is enough space at the bottom of the hill next to Orion for those relocations if the park really wanted to make it happen. This would also give Area 72 the third ride that it needs to feel more complete.

I would use the suspended dark ride system from Vekoma as the conveyor and have the scenes and theming done by Sally Dark Rides. That said, I don't entirely enjoy the idea of suspended dark rides, but I think it would give it a different look and feel compared to PT:ON and my Action Theater dark ride concept. This one could be another interactive dark ride with or without some screens to save on cost. I wouldn't entirely be upset if it were a slightly upgraded SDatHC or BBoBH cutout style dark ride either now that we'll have PT:ON as the "flagship" dark ride.

The space theme could be either an alien-based storyline or something related to getting out beyond the park's Orion project storyline (or whatever is left of it).

I think that's enough space to remove two building and recreate from the ground up Opryland's CHAOS

I'm still trying to figure out, is this the wall that was right there or is it a new path. Now that it's been a few days since I first noticed it I'm starting to think it's just the wall. It'd be really cool to have a path there again (honestly there should be one for the emergency door IMO).

The confusion really stems from the fact that a) I'd never seen it on the webcam before and b) it didn't look like the wall.

No that's not new concrete, that's just a wall.

I came up with an idea to expand and refresh The Beast plaza as well as add a new indoor restaurant/show venue. The new restaurant/show venue I'm calling Beast Canyon Saloon would feature 2 levels, a bar, as well as a stage which would be a permanent home for country shows. It would also house a dance floor and during the day in between show times would offer free line dancing lessons (like those places in Nashville) which would be a cool experience for guests. I also added a water feature back to The Beast's queue area.

Also while not in the concept, I envision The Crypt/current Conjuring building would be used for another indoor attraction

    Again, for a Madhouse

The issue is screenshots never accurately show any activity, but earlier in the morning they had a concrete mixing truck and people within that area. You can faintly see the truck behind the trees.

I don’t fully trust that’s what it is (it seems odd to only add a few feet to the pathway) but they had some landscaping work last week that I could vaguely see on the cams.

I pretty sure it's for the extended queue line for Phantom Theater.

While I love the idea of a fully enclosed queue, I don't see Six Flags investing in that kind of money. That's more along the lines of something Universal or Disney would do.

P.S. Can you do a full walkthrough of the queue or just a set of pictures of each area of the queue?

I'll do it once the queue is completed.

I have been wondering how a queue could work for a Vortex replacement and I mocked up a sorta idea of a queue line with a double sided locker system and metal detectors (like Siren's Curse). The station of the coaster would be higher than usual allowing for a bunch of open space underneath the station that would be used for the double sided lockers, the exit gift shop, on ride photo booth, and a merged queue that would also feature a "pre-show" for the ride. The coaster model I have is a modern Vekoma launch.

I created my own station for the ride as well. The entire queue line is indoors, The Double sided lockers are located at the 2nd floor, at the right. The queue ends to the dual sided lockers that leads to the waiting area for a pre show.

  11. The Best ride campaign in my opinion is Orion, having a disco party and not only that, the story build up is good as well. I don't need to be personal about it because it's my first and probably last in-person campaign, but I like seeing all of the enthusiasts around America coming in and celebrating that Kings Island is getting a giga coaster.

I really wonder if we’ll see any “construction/prep work” before the decade ends.

The park hasn’t gotten a thrill roller coaster since 2020 which has not necessarily been part of 3-5 year formula (technically it is if you include the kiddie coaster.)

With new chain however, I’m sure that formula has more or less been thrown out the window, but nevertheless as one of their most highly attended parks in the Cedar Fair legacy chain, it’s somewhat shocking that we haven’t heard a whisper of anything large coming down the road.

I mean in 2027, it's Vortex's 40th birthday. So maybe we can see a record breaking inversion base coaster. Feel Free to suggest any ideas of what Vortex 2.0 will be like.

I've not seen anything on the boards about the "New way to play" for the midway arcade.  This was taken from the (several) digital ad boards thorughout the park. The 2 things I didn't capture was the claw pulling up a fastlane pass and a 2026 Gold Pass.  Something is coming to the Midway Arcade, didn't know if anyone has any further information on this.  (Pics by me).

Midway games will be rewarding winners a single use Fastlane, and different Season Pass benefits.
