Someone could use those coordinates to map every footer, right?

Yeah... I think I am just going to let the others do the heavy lifting here!

  2. You never know... both of these names could be used for Kings Island as I do not think they would fit all that great in other Cedar Fair parks (maybe a new flat ride, restaurant, Flight of Fear retheme, or some other attraction)

Can you link it? Id love to watch.

I had previously watched the video as well, and he did a great job with explaining what was going on... here is the link:

Just a couple reference points I got from trolling through the construction of Fury 325. Fury started clearing for for the station area on June 21, this was the first area clearing happening and started pouring footers for the station in July 18.

One intereting note was Cedar Fair filed for the trademark, or at least the trade mark was found, for “Fury 325” on June 16.

Obvisouly Ohio climate is different than North/South Carolina but interesting none the less.

In addition, Carowinds always opens about a month earlier that Kings Island, so theoretically, we should have more time to to complete the project which is surprising with the rate we are moving now

Surprised how close they have this going towards The Beast, but excited about it nonetheless.

I agree and just hope that the coaster is more low-to-the ground when it passes by The Beast, so the trees can block it from being seen by Beast riders

  6. I do, in fact, believe the park is replacing some, if not all, of their maintenance buildings because it would allow them to drastically increase the size of X-Base and make it more roomy to accommodate for the increased foot traffic of a new attraction

However, I do not see them demolishing the current maintenance buildings until some of the ones under contraction are completed because the park needs those to work on rides and launch fireworks throughout the operating season

And what happens when a wing coaster gets scaled up? It cost a lot.... the argument against a giga just starts to fall apart at that, why build a massive wing coaster when you can build a giga coaster which only coast a bit more and deliver higher results.

I couldn’t agree more because as it looks right now, whatever model of coaster the park decides to build will have to be super scaled-up and will probably cost roughly the same as a giga (longer rollercoaster means more steel, and more steel means a higher price tag)

It'd be sweet if they could make the ride interact with the Flight of Fear building in some way.

Maybe the lift could go over the Flight of Fear building, and the coaster would then turn around and go towards the rest of the clearing

Edit: Or the coaster could pass over the Flight of Fear building on the return trip

*throw this into play* Ladies and Gentlemens, my prediction that everyone will follow. To show the giga.png

    TAA DAA! My prediction!

While I don’t think all of this is going to happen, it would certainly be cool to see some of it come true!

@FUN&ONLY! Just give them time. When they feel it's right for teasers, they will post them.

On edit: I sound hypocritical there. Haha.

I agree, but who knows, maybe when Cedar Point opens up, we will see some teasers there referencing other parks like we did last year

I don’t know about them all but I think this one is going...

I was thinking the same thing because that would give the potential giga a better path

  12. With the size and shape of the clearing, it really does look like it would fit a giga coaster the best because all other types of coasters from B&M take up different shaped footprints, but there is still a slight possibly that a wing coaster like GateKeeper would work here

The mystery land clearing now extends past the north Racer.

Hmm... I wonder how far they are going to go with the clearing... I will not be surprised if it extends back near Beast, and the park saves the land behind Banshee for a later project

Probably not, didn’t really think bout that

I was just kidding, but I agree a dark green and purple color scheme could look pretty cool!

No that rollercoaster was MCQ, also most of the rollercoaster has already been built.

Oh okay, but maybe KI’s giga is just too big that it counts as two coasters LOL

In all seriousness, the third of these mega coasters is probably just one that has not been announced yet, maybe overseas

So I found this photo on Reddit. The theory goes that MC stand for megacoaster and the last letter is the numerical sequence of projects. So MCR would be one coaster and MCT would be a separate. MCR is likely Hershey’s rumored hyper. 006fd278c9e0578ba85b445740882800.jpgSince we don’t see a MCS they either skipped over it or it is sitting somewhere on the property. So there could possibly be 3 hypers/gigas currently in production. Thoughts?

There is a B&M Hyper is scheduled to open up in China later this year, so maybe that is one of the three mega coasters
