Mystic has intense airtime? What would you call El Toro's? Mystic is just as intense as Invadr @ bgw, and its considered a family coaster with a lower height limit.

Did you watch the video. Mr Kinzel said as much. SoB, I enjoy reading your thoughts. Ghost Guy, I hope your book does well. I am excited to read it.

Ridership does not equal popularity. See Vortex. An RMC would never be popular looking at ridership.

Point is if you polled GP coming in the gates @ CP which coaster is bringing them there, the b&m's would be way down the list. Lets please not get into a manufacturer debate.
-
I don't understand what this discussion is about. The point that I am making is that the GP likes variety. The only park that has # of Intamins and B&M's collectively is CP. The GP chooses the Intamins over the B&M's. I guess the next place would be Great Adventure and the GP prefer KA, El Toro, & skull mountain over the b&m's there.

My point is that CF wanted the most intense coaster ever created to honor Dale Earnhardt and the areas NASCAR fans. They got what they wanted. A lot of people are afraid to ride it due to the intensity, but Intamin built what CF wanted.

Intamin gave Cedar Fair what they wanted, see the interviews the CF brass gave in this nice video. See 3:40 With my GP hat on, the b&m's at CP have long lines first thing as that is what the GP sees when they walk in the gates. Later on in the day and the evening those rides are walk-ons. Valraven still has a line cause its the newest. Raptor & GateKeeper are sending out half empty trains. A large b&m in frontiertown would be a walk on all day long. Rides like I mentioned above have a consistent line throughout the entire day.

Thank god Mr. Kinzel went with maverick instead of a 200' b&m floorless. That was the other option on the table at the time. Look at CP. B&M's are popular for a year or so but for the long haul people keep coming back to MF, maverick, TTD, Magnum, Steel Vengeance, ETC. Having ridden Bizarro, the dark knight, Scream, Medusa West, Dominator, hydra, the awful conversions firebird & rougarou, and krypton coaster(being the best) they all are cookie cutter, forgettable, one and one coasters IMO. We can all agree with Steel Vengeance and MF being on both sides of the former white water landing site that place would be a ghost town with a floorless there.

Hopefully Orion is better than SD2000, plenty of reviews say its boring. Coaster Studios in his review said he only rode it once and did not want to ride it again.

I am contemplating giving up social media due to the sheer amount of people that think amusement parks will be opening soon. Its up in the air for sporting events in the fall. People cite china parks opening. Last I checked China is not very regulated. -
Great adventure is in a higher populated area. If you go to KI in the summer, you can generally ride everything in the summer. KI has lots of low cap rides: Invertigo, BLSC, & FOF to name a few. 4 trains with a continuous loading platform like Wonder Woman would not be bad.

We all saw this coming. If sports are up in the air opening why would an amusement park? -

How hard is it to understand. People are not spreading disease due to the stay at home order. If it was business as usual then it would be out of control. -
