I have not heard anything good about these

What do you mean that you think SF has been handling this better than Cedar Fair?
I agree that Six Flags has added operating days, while Cedar Fair has paired back their operating days and hours.
Six Flags has created new events, added days and hours and done everything they can to keep chugging along. Cedar Fair has been very cautious.

The park is getting a 4d coaster and clearly there is a lot going on at the old volcano location. This park has yet to get neglected and I do not picture it starting now

I did not mind the rattle on Banshee I just cant stand the vests. Put regular trains on it and I could picture it being near the top of my invert list. Sadly with the trains for me its at the bottom

I feel sorry for KD. It always feels like the clause that BGW had with B&M really hurt KD down the road.
It allowed KD to get more unique rides.

I heard its because of construction going on in the area around with the old Volcano location

My goodness those food lines. I wonder what percentage of people waiting in line for food have a meal plan.
I like when you can order on a touch screen and scan your pass to use meal plan. It seems to make it much easier and faster

Gene seems to find diamonds in the rough with used rides and refurbs them. He might be able to go on a used ride spending spree and build this and Clementon up!

I ate at Panda Express and Jukebox diner and both were good. Also got beer at a cart by the Flying Cobras and it was cold and good. Nighthawk, and I232 are good coasters. Afterburn and Fury are amazing coasters. I was not able to ride Copperhead since it opened a few years later. Carolina Cyclone was bad so hopefully The Vortex trains help. Hurler and Vortex were also pretty subpar. It is a great park though and easily one of my favorite Cedar Fair parks

So Skyline chili was amazing when I tried it in the park. 2nd best chili cheese dogs I have ever had. I am also jealous this park has a panda express. Id kill for my home park to get one!!!

Someone like me who travels a long distance to visit a park I like fastlane. If I am driving 5+ hours to visit a park I wanna ride everything. I try to visit 5ish new parks a year and I want to get all the coaster credits. I recently visited Wild Adventures and they did not offer a fast pass and I missed 2 credits.

SFGAM is a gem of a park. Although not a single top 5 coaster in the park it had a a large solid collection. It would help alot with plat pass holders in the midwest. But there are things I prefer in each chain. It never would have of received Goliath, Joker, Superman or Maxx Force as a Cedar Fair park.

I would say Diamondback. Am I remembering it wrong or does the lift hill have different colored supports compared to the rest of the ride?

I would like to see completely different attractions here vs Cedar Point. No Dive, Wing ect. There seems to be enough companies and products out there to diversify their profiles. I know there will always be overlap (wood, invert ect) but this park could go with a Mach mega coaster with a launch, A new age Vekoma and have a kick a$$ ride without over lapping Cedar Point.

Well I am on the wrong site. I am a amusement park fan not a one park fanboy. I am well traveled and try to go to 5 or 6 new parks a year. I like the 6 flags method of sharing the love and not feeding only a couple. I came to this site to talk coasters and amusement parks. Clearly this site has a bias one way of thinking.

I don't care if the small parks get anything or not. Besides there is no ROI in those areas.
So Dorney, WOF, MIA, and VF dont a turn a profit and KI, KD, CP CW and Knotts support them ? Because those parks made money and supported investments before CF dumped over a billion on the paramount parks. I heard that KI had no attendance increase with Banshee and only a 1 or 2 % with Mystic Timbers

I have high hopes that all the parks will get love in the up coming years. Since Cedar Fair purchased the paramount parks investments have been very top heavy.

I am sure not printing 20 million maps for all the parks saves a pretty penny

Looks like fun!

remove boo blasters for a flying theater

I am hoping to attend this park next summer. Kanonen looks great and the extended SLC is supposed to have the next generation vest trains!

both parks have great pros and cons. I would also put Mystic Timbers and Goliath in the upper tier of wooden coasters together
