g) They can't reopen the International Restaurant due to ADA restrictions. They do not have an elevator in place for guests to use to get to the restaurant. They would have to build an elevator. In addition, they use it for meetings and trainings, etc.

When will they offer have lunch with a Park Services Associate?

The fluids would not be as viscous at low temperatures. Therefore the wheels would not be as lubricated and would need more force to overcome the friction.

Put yourself in the city's situation. You see a lion roaming through a subdivision and you don't have a tranquelizer gun, are you going to let him prowl, maybe break through someone's sliding glass door and murder innocent people? Or are you going to be rational and shoot the lion and protect the public? Also, they attempted to tranquelize a tiger and he became very agitated and came after the officers? I guess the officer should surrender to the tiger. I understand people's stance here, but in my opinion saving a couple lions/wolfs/bears/tigers is not worth the loss of one human life. It's unfortunate that the preserves owner is dead, he should have been punished to the full extent of the law.

Now they just throw everything into storage. What a change.

^Whoa. Firehawk has got to have one of the worst capacities in the park as far as coasters. I don't think I've ever waited less than 30 minues... except when it was up north, they couldn't even fill a train.

Zimmerman Promoted to CF COO

Good for him, I've met him on a couple of occasions, he was a really nice guy. -
^ Very well said. I completely agree. While I am not an avid supporter of the system, it was bound to happen at some point. With as popular of a park as KI is, there had to be some sort of system to allow people who are coming for just a day (especially on weekends) to skip the lines. They did offer the VIP tours before as well, didn't hear many complaints about that.

Definitely the dumpster locations. See if you can find them all!
-
I would call the park and ask, I would assume you would have to re-enter prior to 7.

Kings Island will never PURPOSEFULLY try and open a ride mid-season. Memorial Day weekend would be the last day they would shoot to have a ride open. Not saying it hasn't happened, but it won't be planned that way.

I told you I would be shamelessly plugging!

I would agree with all of the above. The Fright Lane passes really are awesome and are worth it if you can afford it. However, I do not think it will be quite as busy this Saturday. Hard to say, but it won't be a near record breaking day like last week. Anything in Action Zone will not have as long of a line. Slaughterhouse moves really well, Wolfpack didn't seem too bad last week and the same goes for Club Blood. These can kind of be hit at will, other than that I'd probably try and hit some of the stuff right at 5 and try and hit Tombstone right at dark when it opens.

Busiest day was bring a friend free day in 2002. What's my source? The park's admissions system. Tombstone was back that far at one point, I was there working.
-
200 a night? It wouldn't even pay off the park's money to run the program. They would probably not even make money on this. I'd say capping it at 5% of park admission would be more than suitable. I'm not making the decisions though.

Why the rolling eyes? That is a fact that employees parked out in the grass along Western Row Rd.

I rode Friday night in the back seat and it was one of the better Beast rides I've had as an adult. Very smooth, no painful vibrations in the helix.

Mean Streak closed?

Probably a good thing. Last time I rode it I thought it was going to shake my head off. -
The question here is now why you didn't buy a Fright Lane pass in the first place. You claimed that you saw cars out to the grass (which were employee cars by the way, they reserved the employee lot for guests this day). You should have bought the passes when you first entered. While I understand your complaints about the lines, the Fright Lane passes were limited to some extent, I can't say at what point they were capped, but they never reached that value. I am pleased to hear you still had a good time and had a generally positive attitude about your trip, I am sorry it was so busy. Cedar Point was equally as busy.

Just to respond to some earlier posts. Saturday was the second busiest day in park history. I don't think I can say the number, but it was insane. Haunt lines on Saturday were crazy, Tombstone TerrorTory was all the way back at The Beast plaza, Holiday Horror was to Flume and at one point Massacre Manor was wrapped around the carousel. As far as quantity of Fast Passes, I think it is based on attendance, but I am not 100% certain. The park did have a limited number of Fright Lane passes available, I can confirm that. And no, I do not get comission, although I wish I did. My group and I tried them out on Friday night, and they were great. Even though "it was a waste with such low crowds" according to a former employee we encountered in a line. It's my disposable income, I'll use it how I like .

The first year of Fear Fest/Haunt Phantom Theatre had a Haunt attraction inside of it with actors. Reference one of the history forums for more info. They have like 3-4 characters inside this year, unfortunately the blasters do not harm them.
-
They induct semi-famous and star employees of the past. Former stars include Carmen Electra and well that's about it. They had it set up in Tower Gardens at one point.
-
Haunt wait times can be next to nothing with your FRIGHTLANE PASSES!!!!!! -TeenageNinja, who is shameless plugging Haunt passes on here and at the Island for the rest of the month.

I would just like to note that Dracula's Haunted Castle in 2004 was by far the worst haunt attraction ever put in to the park. At one point it had a 2 hour line, people booed, people threatened associates. It was very very bad. Talk about incentive to not bring that back! Urgent Scare has done much better in Action Theatre "Side B".
