Terpy, I understand your point, circumstances were a little different then and I don't think acquiring parts for an Arrow suspended are as bad as a TOGO Stand Up. I could be wrong, but I really doubt KI will tear out Flight Deck in the next 5 years.

I really doubt that after spending money to paint the ride, that they would tear it down. Simple economics.

It's mostly a safety issue, after pulling trash in the parking lot, you would know how much alcohol is consumed out there even on a Saturday afternoon. Haunt nights were the worst. Coaster should be running as long as they start cycling before the temperature drops below 52 degrees. Depends on the ride though.

I highly doubt that IF Vortex was sinking, it would sink evenly across the board. Uneven sinking would lead to higher stresses on the track and the potential for shearing of the track. But what do I know, I only got an engineering degree from UC.

And to that argument, some would say Magnum is the best steel coaster in the world. It's all about opinions. If you don't like their opinions, don't read.

Kennywood's Haunt deserves to be on the list. no questions asked.

You can expect long waits throughout the Haunt, Saturdays are worse though. Friday nights can be hit or miss depending on the weather, but I think that high school football games keep the teenage crowd down. Saturday nights are wide open though.

A little more like the VIP Tours they offer rather than Frightlane, which I will most definitely look into.

Not a chance it comes back, with all the planning it would take in addition to staffing issues (seasonal hour caps, etc.) there is not a chance it will be back this year. Possible in the future, yes, but very doubtful.

^ They are trying to regionalize their parks. That way if you want to see DA and live in Michigan you don't have to drive 5+ hours and can drive to CP. This is a good addition to the bottom line. Literally the bottom line. This will pay itself off next year alone, guaranteed. Look for a big ride to come in 2013 I'd imagine.

I am sure the news will be on the parks Twitter/Facebook/Website by 2:30, if not right at 2:00.

If everything I've heard is true, all it will be for you will be a tremendous disappointment. I, however, think it's going to be great for the park.

me and my friend would inhale the fog and lift our heads and quickley exhale and it looked so cool, and some girls asked us if we worked there :3 please dont inhale the fog, it's not healthy & kills brain cells. if you want to achieve a neat factor, stand in the trail of the fog for a few seconds & then rapidly move out of it as to let the fog roll off of your clothes, but dont inhale it; thats just plain dumb... ^ Proof? I don't think that they would produce fog with health risks, especially as popular as fake fog is at laser tag arenas, amusement parks, etc.

They're back and shorter than ever.

Typically an anouncement will be shortly followed by season pass sales, great marketing ploy, although I think the news will be hard to receive this year.

Good move on CF part, I believe. Unfortunately not much to intice enthusiasts to visit. However, I don't think it'll be nearly as successful.

I'm guessing it's gonna be for DA at CP. I highly doubt they are getting a coaster after the CW anouncement.

I was thinking about this, it's kind of like comparing Magnum to Millie at CP. Very similar comparison, just not 20 years apart.
