Hmmm, very interesting, maybe they are planning on doing the pull through this week.

I was going to get my roommate to come with, but the KIC deadline passed, and I know he's def not interested in joining a cost coaster club. Oh well, I'm sure I'll at least stop by for some of the ERT.

Congrats, I'm about to start trying to cut some pounds too. Right now I'm 6'0 240, shooting for 215. I can easily ride anything at the park and at CP, but am shooting to look better. Gator, Chipotle is great as far as I'm concerned, although I usually get the Bol instead of the actual Borrito, it cuts a lot of the fat and calories. Congrats Pikeman, I wish you the best of luck at CP and KI this season, and kudos to you.

The maintenance buildings can be moved, that's not a big deal. I don't really see them expanding that way though.

I would imagine they won't start testing till the weather warms up. I'd say probably in the mid 40s to test. Could happen next week, but I doubt it.

I look for this ride to have similar or higher capacity to Vortex.

Viola, I'm pretty sure the employee ID gets you into all of the Cedar Fair parks, I remember some of my friends from the park telling me that last year. Also, they typically only put returners from the previous year on big new rides. I know for example after the '04 season I put IJ as my first choice and was put on the crew. Unfortunately, I got promoted before it opened so I didn't really get an opportunity to work the ride. However, if you don't get on a coaster, pick another popular ride like Delirium, you may get an opportunity to work at Diamondback. People do call off ya know? Best of luck!

Because teenageninja has been through the process of testing a new coaster. Thanks Aaron, appreciate the defense. Just because you work at Coney Island and your getting your Masters in DAAP doesn't mean you know everything CoastersRZ, in fact your know it all attitude is really starting to get on my nerves.

The important thing to finish is the trackwork and install the trains. Once that's done they should be in great shape. The amount of time spent testing shouldn't be more than a month. The ride is still on track to open on time I'm sure.

Cedar Point's hiring situation is a little different since they have so many internationals and people relocating to work there. Still, I'm sure summer jobs are going to be hard to get.

Diamondback is shaping up pretty well, I'm impressed with the speed. Can't wait to ride it.

I know at one point they even donated some of it to one of the frequent disabled guests named Robbie. I'm not sure if they still do or don't, but he always made my day when he visited.

I'll be talking to my manager later to see if I can work like 3/4 of the day, and make up the hours during the week.

My experiences from B&M have all been enjoyable. Chang, Mantis, Raptor, Dominator are all great rides. Diamondback is coming up pretty quickly, probably due to the "nice" weather we have been having as of late.

Should be able to make it, we'll see.
