Yeah what is Coaster Cats and how can I join. I'm a UC student in MET.

There is a light dusting on the ground in West Chester, about 10 minutes from the park, that's about it.

Minors not getting their breaks on time was probably one of the major issues. I know when I was a minor there was 2 different times in which we had an issue getting me a break.

Honestly the drinking age should be lowered in my opinion, but to 18 not like 15. Although it doesn't matter to me anymore

Unfortunately in our society today, people can't drink to have fun, they have go get drunk to enjoy their time. I'm definitely in support of alcohol at the park, too bad it's out of my price range. Off to a 10 kegger guys! jk

Purely speculation from my point of view, but I would imagine that planter box will be removed in front of the entrance and maybe some queues being placed in the area next to the lower level queues( I believe that is a storage area). I am being optimistic an hoping for maybe a sign or some trees in front, but let's be realistic.

Good thing we have the only giant top spin (atleast too my knowledge. The others are just normal top spins.

^ This is extremely untrue. Cincinnati probably has the second biggest fan base out of the three major cities in Ohio (Cleveland, Cincy, Columbus). I've noticed that more people up north tend to be Wolverine fans then down here. Although the reasoning might be that OSU paid UC millions of dollars to play their second game in the home and home series later than scheduled, I know that got me riled up a little.

Headspin was worse than the other two boomerangs I had ridden. Hopefully the new trains stop that.

UC is not going to semesters until Fall 2011.

Vertical lift has to lower capacity and here is why I say so. The boats on rides like Congo can have more than one boat on the lift at once. The elevator system allows 2 (technically). This will slow cycle times down. Also about the math. 2.4 minutes isn't 2:40, it's around 2:20. The correct math would be: 60 minutes x 60 second= 3600 seconds/ 160 seconds per cycle = 22.4 cycles per hour. This no including load times, and times it may be waiting for the elevator. I would say add a minute for load and unload this lowers the capacity to 16.4 cycles per hour. 16.4 cycles per hour x 5 boats x 10 people per boat = 820 people per hour

Looks neat, 45 degrees is steep for a water ride.

Rumor has it that Mr. Toomer designed his coasters out of clothes hangers. Its just amazing to see how far things have come (suspended for example) and changes in banking have come. Just imagine if Vortex's first turn was banked completely through, that would have made it much better IMO.

Crazy... I've seen him too though.

The rough transitions I hear people refer to is mostly the turn after the first drop where it curves left, straightens, then curves left again. That's the only poor transition I would say on the ride.

Still no real excuse that it has tripled in the past 5 years. Definitely makes life a little easier though.
