How Old Were You When You First Visited Kings Island?
teenageninja replied to LongliveKingsCobra's topic in KI Polls
My first visit was in 1989 I believe, I was 2. My first meaningful experience was 1996, when I conquered my fear of roller coasters on Flight of Fear, and here I am today. -
It's slows down so the chain won't have to completely stop while the other train is moving into the station, the ride is short and it's a blocking issue.
-
^Really??
-
Definitely has a western/ old town feel to it.
-
That's probably the transfer track to remove trains and add trains.
-
I really don't see it being Behemoth, but I've been wrong once or twice before.
-
Not true at all, in fact if I remember correctly it has been stuck upside down over the lava pit. You'd think it'd be impossible for a coaster to be stuck upside down, but Demon at SFGAM did that too. Anything mechanical that breaks is very hard to predict.
-
I would be surprised if they even have the layout finished by HH. I would imagine they may have the sections of the ride behind The Crypt finished, but the track that goes over the path will more than likely not be done I would imagine.

If someone was missing something out of the lockers that are manned then security would have probable cause against the employees. In order for the door to close, the key must be inserted and turned to the lock position, allowing it to be removed. This would make you and the employees of the park the only ones capable of getting into these lockers (in theory). I believe that the lockers are cleaned out everynight with everything being taken to Guest Relations. Most people tend to clean out their lockers because there is deposit on the locker as well. Hope that helped.

The lockers do not have a time limit. The 7 dollar lockers are there because they are manned by staff at all times, therefore more secure. Also, Dakota, welcome to the real world. Someone decided to help themselves to my roommates stereo because it was in his car (you know his car stereo). That's the world now a days, if someone sees something they want, they'll take it.

If it is a decent lock it should be capable of staying shut. It either 1 was not completely shut, or 2 someone is crooked in the park and broke in and stole your stuff.

At least it's not $4 a gallon ... yet :)

I don't see it going above 4.50 in the tri state area for a while. Luckily I drive a Chevrolet Metro that gets around 40 mpg on the highway and 30 city. -
MYSTERY NO MORE--KI BUILDING HYPERCOASTER
teenageninja replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
Probably not, considering the theming in the Crypt is already not working. -

Considering they just put money into retheming it, I really don't see them putting more money into it. -
Splash.

And I never disagreed with you there. That's why I always bring girls to haunted houses. That was not appropriate.

The only good part about club blood was the DJ and he made fun of the Bengals while I was wearing my jersey.

I would imagine with the addition of the new queues inside of the Crypt the line would not be longer than half of the outside portion, however, if it gets extremely popular at some point again, that could create a lot of congestion in Rivertown. Also has anyone thought of how high this helix is. It seems as thought it might be a good amount over the path, maybe something guests can walk under. -

That's a popular rumor I have heard that it uses the Cowboy Carnage building along with the store across from the Crypt being used as the exit. -

Nice, looks like it will be solid, looks shorter than I thought though. -
Water Moccasins are also a snake that hang around in the water, I was always kind of thinking of a snake themed ride since I saw the signs.

The first drop layout now seems to line up with what I've heard and the clearing behind TR:TR. If First Drop is saying over 5000 feet, the layout may only be going in horizontal dimension as we have speculated. It will be interesting to see how that final helix goes as it seems to be right where The Beast Ace landmark is. -
Ew. Headspin was terrible when I rode it at GL. Face/Off is more smooth and more exciting. I'm kind of surprised that they are bothering moving it, however, if they do get lap bar only trains that would be ok.
