New 18 hole Mini-Golf to Great Wolf
teenageninja replied to CoastersRZ's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
That golf course used to host Nightmare Estates. Pretty good haunt if you ask me. -
I bet the capacity is pretty low on that ride... let's tear down the Eiffel Tower for it.
-
Yes, the UC Police Department just spent 100,000s of dollars on new vehicles including Dodge Charger police cars and Segways, most of which are not used properly. I have seen a security guard riding a segway around in one of the cafeterias, how lazy.

Tomb Raider is not even close to Universal quality. The theming on it is great for KI, but as far as Universal quality goes, it doesn't even touch it.
-
Probably true, with people with preexisting neck injuries. I know that Beast has injured some backs in it's time, but of course there is a warning, and I doubt anyone with a healthy back is going to be hurt.

I agree, Marketing Express was a darn good supervisor, ain't that right guy? I remember my days at Vortex in '05. I remember our train record of 43 being beaten though :'(.
-
Spring Break for colleges at least is before KI opens, so that would be no good. I would probably remove Action Theatre, as much as I love it (I did work there afterall), simulators are just not exciting anymore, coupled with a fairly high height requirement, the space could be occupied by something a little more fun.

I felt the food at Wings was very expensive for the poor quality they delivered. I'm not a big Montgomery Inn fan though.
-
Or they could tear down Wings for the 2009 coaster :-D. Or remodel it.
-
If they are trying to push the paramount name away they will change the web address too I'm sure.

A lot of work can get done in 4 months, just have to focus your resources properly.

I met Ruth when I was younger (around 6 or 7) she is a great lady, pure class.

'Paramount' Removed from Parking lot sign

It probably isn't very hard to change over the whole top half. I'm shocked they didn't go with a full LCD lightboard, catches a lot more attention. -
Official Poll: After One Season, do you prefer new SOB or old?
teenageninja replied to BoddaH1994's topic in KI Polls
The new trains are much more comfortable, that's for sure, the ride was much better. However, I miss the loop and wish they would have been more creative. -
Line jumping will be countered by a foot dropped precisely .01 mm infront of the perpetrators feet.
-
I don't see Tomb Raider staying. IJ will probably be renamed LA Express or something dumb, Top Gun will be Flight Deck, or Thunderhawk or something along those lines.
-
No the backhoe is for a new Dippin Dots stand that's going in the loops of Vortex.

Interesting, anyone got pictures yet? -
In all honesty, I see Cedar Fair beefing up the aesthetics of the park at night. Right now it's a few chaser lights, and the new lights on the tower. Go up to Cedar Point at night, you see lasers, LEDs, lighting packages. I'd love to see that at KI, Vortex with a lighting package = :-D.

Probably doesn't say where they are made. They are probably stock jackets, with custom embrodary (done at another location).
-
The only way I can see that happening is if they put it between their feet during the ride. If you alert a ride operator of the situation when you arrive back, I'm sure they will certainly be willing to solve the problem.
-
Unless your doctor says it is ok I wouldn't recommend it. Especially if something happens, not only will it make the park look bad, but it will make your parents look bad for not heading the warnings given by the park and potentially your doctor.

I'm not really sure why everyone thinks Top Gun is such a poorly engineered ride. I'm sure Arrow purposefully made it slam in at full speed, much like a real jet would do. If the air brakes couldn't stop it, nothing can, pneumatics are one of the strongest forces around. There is no way Congo gets relocated, relocation within a park of a ride of that scale would be obserd, especially with all of the extra land available (yes I am aware much of it is considered "unusable").
