Um, besides like 2 or 3 people, arent the mod staffs the same for both sites? The problem stands with the fact that PKIC is mostly enthusiast driven, while PKIU is mostly employee driven. Im not saying its like mixing oil and water, but the way employees act while away from the park is a lot different than the way enthusiasts act while away from the park. E.G. At the park, employees have to have a one track mind, soo on the boards, we like to stray.

I was not impressed at all with Disney. When I went down to Dosney World a couple of years ago, the parks were packed. You could not even walk in a straight line. The walkways were just so narrow for the amount of people that were in the park. Especially at Magic Kingdom. Paramount Parks has the best overall package of rides. I will have to put Universal next. As for Six Flags, I go for the entire park package. When you walk into a park and see absolutely NO theming, I feel like Im at a carnival.

I dont think anyone should respond to what is most popular until they have seen the numbers for themselves.

The park already has an Entertainment dept that takes care of the majority of theming.

Hey DX, can we get a reason please? All I know is that both communities, no matter what happens, we need to reach an agreement. This is why we are asking everyones opinion.

The problem is that we as enthusiasts dont like to see any rides removed. I am willing to bet that the majority of the GP just kinda shrugged and said "What a shame." Just remember that just because we loved the ride, the GP might not show the same amount of love.

All that undeveloped land is rather hilly. Developing on it is going to be rather hard, and not cost-effective.

Another thing: If we were to merge, a lot of the people over at PKIC would leave because of us coming over. The reason I say this is that the way we post isnt going to die. A lot of people over there dont like our way of posting.

But then you wouldnt have any water rides on that side of the park at all. Couple that with the no-shade in AZ, it might become a problem.

But apparently you cant judge on whos the top by capasity (or how many people are on each board) What is so nice about having two boards is that the mature conversations are really over at PKIC, but the conversations here are kinda outta control and fun. If you can somehow merge and keep those separate, you would have a kick ass site.

The differences in a lights show and a park half-open are staggering. Thats kinda like saying that the Cincinnati Zoo lights show (forget what it is called) is exactly like PKI being open for Winterfest. I will retract this if BG has some major rides open. HOLD THE PHONE! We are not getting lazy about the theming. If we were, would the fog in preshow at TRTR be working? No. Noone (at least in animation) is getting lazy about theming. Maybe its not high on our list of things we would like to do, but we are not getting lazy. We use what we can to keep it operational. Thats all I have to say on that.

In between the campground and Gun is where the landscapers have their greenhouses. Those wont get torn down.

Alrighty then, since you seem to know EVERYTHING going on at the park, if Gun is taken out, what prytell would go in the valley? Let me remind you, besides what is used right now, you have SOB on the right, parking lot on the left, campground at the top of the hill, and steel maintenance nearest you. So what, since you want something longer and not a long walk to it, do you think Paramount want in the valley? Please, indulge us. We are hanging on your every word. Please dont act like you know everything about the park, and what the park wants. Those who know dont talk, and those who dont know, run their mouths, kinda like what you are doin. So, for once in your life, please, hold your tongue. We are supposed to be fans of the park, and you are sitting here badmouthing the corporates. Ok, they made one bad decision. Doesnt mean that the corporate people think of just ticking us off. So just ease off, think of the good times, fondle those good times, and shut up about the corporate offices not thinking about us.

Could also be a dump-prep area. Just a place to put the dirt until the heavy machinery can be put in. If you ever look in a construction site, you always see the backhoes sitting on top of the pile of dirt that they are removing, dumping it into the dumptrucks.

Hey guys, Sorry if it seems that I resent PKIC coming over to PKIU. If you understood some of the situations I am in right now, you would understand that its easier to vent here and not have many repercussions than it is to vent in about 3 of my professors faces and deal with those. Just so you know, I planned since the beginning to give Dane a hard time about this, but I think I have gone a little bit too far. That is why I am issuing a public apology for my words/actions in the past week(ish) timeperiod. Trust me, if I could go back and make it so noone read my recent outlashes, I would. But wouldnt they need that land to be almost flat? Its kinda hard to dig footers on the side of a mound. That and the parking structure itself is going to be round, not the land around it.
