So we are only a day and a half away from passholder preview how have they not released the meal plan items and menu for all locations

I find that kind of ridiculous. With very little too no new food items announced for this year the dining experience is starting too worry me if it’s gonna take a hit this year. We shall see

Typical every year and will probably post in blog a while from now.   Just look on social media for your answers.   KI medica does a poor job on this every year and for all the upcoming events and not sure why......

I attended ERScream. I thought ACE put together a nice event and made the best of the way things turned out with the weather.

That was an amazing event with fun activities including The Racer-a-thon.   Got to tide many rides on Beast and Racer with this GOAT.     Only downside was the cold rain later in day.....

What's the most out of the ordinary thing you've seen when at the park?

I have two stories. One day, my boyfriend went to the top of the Eiffel Tower as a break from the coasters-- when an employee at the top pointed out to us that Firehawk was stuck on the lifthill and had been stuck for quite a while. Here's the kicker, they were facing to the sky on a sunny and HOT day in July. We watched them for awhile, and I remember watching employees climb the stairs on the hill and talking to the guests. It looked miserable!

Another time I watched an idiot jump the fence exiting The Beast to retrieve a plastic football that I assume he lost when the train left the station. I got a little panicky because he crossed under the track right when another train took out. He got the football, but got stuck behind the fence and had to have security get him.

    What have you seen?

I rode Stealth (first version of the flying coaster at California Great America in summer 8 times in a row.  On the last ride we got stuck on the return station area in the sun.  California afternoon and it was 90 + degrees.    That was hot.

Hmm. Another day-of/hour-of announcement. It seems like they don't want to sell as many as they could if it had been posted yesterday or earlier this morning.

Well  there Sunday morning and saw they had the sign for it out still.  Called to confirm they would sell it Sunday and went at 4 PM  and daughter and I got one and it was good!!!

As long as their events continue to "sell out", they feel there is no reason to market it....

They feel it is better to have you mad you missed it because you didn't know about it than have you mad because they marketed it and you made a special trip and missed it because it sold out....

Their method creates what they like to call a sense of urgency that you should be at the park for fear of missing out of something they decide to do and announce day of...

Well I have been going 80+ and 90+ times for last several years,,  this year just at 21 and wont get anywhere near those previous numbers.   It is sad and the park is making many do the same......   Life time pass holder and been to park since it opens and hopefully I and many others will continue but if operations remain as is for a longer time,  doubt it ......

I emailed the park with my opinion on the subject and got this response:

I basically said that I felt it was unethical and inconvenient for the park to tell guests to either bring their own water bottle into the park or to play hide and seek with where water is available especially on hot days.

I have been on this same complaint for years and it has gotten STUPID at the park.   Now my last visit I see Grain and Grill NO longer will have cups but says go to Starbucks!    WTH!   I dont drink anything but water and will NOT pay for a drink plan to just get a .00001 cent plastic cup.   So nice when you wait 30 min to get food then go next door to wait 30 more to get a tiny cup of water.     You could just monitor or have someone do the water for  you but with budget cuts that wont happen.  Love when ride ops tell you in the heat of summer to stay hydrated and get water but hey it will cost you to do so.    I have taken pictures of the VIP lounge and how they have stacks and stacks of water cups there.   So for $50 more a visit, I get water?   WHAT A JOKE.

Meanwhile a little west and south of here....
