  1. A question I still have is why did they not use the old filght commander site to put this up?

The old 3 wheel ferris wheel was there and it would be a great spot?

I know that originally drop zone was going there till they decided to move it and build Action Zone.

It would such a nicer out of the path place to put it. Give the same great view and such.

Anyone know a good reason? I know they have pay stuff there now but come on....

  2. Now wondering if Mason Fire has to practice high rescue for this ride. Think there is a manual way to get ride unit down in an emergency case?

With DZ, release ride and let drop so no biggie. But what to do here. I mean there have been people stuck on top of DZ ride cylce. Also wonder

what wind speeds this can operate in. I know that is why they went with this model, but will they have non operation times for high wind?

  3. Seems as they are in a lull in construction. Do they have more pieces on site or are they waiting arrival for those parts?

Wonder how much is done at the other parks and are these rides coming in/being built in a central location?

  4. So first of all, will there be a movie running in the Action Theater this year and if so what?

Will it be Spongebob still or something Dinosaur related?

Also, how will you get to that area if it is used?

WindSeeker is right on top of that entrance/exit and just wonder how they will

keep the line for that and flow to the AT seperate.

  5. This may have already been asked, but are they going to show us vertical construction or not?! I don't want to see just one part of the tower all the way until April 30.

Edit: D'oh! Just now saw that three posts above mine this was already explained....sorry!

WindSeeker Webcam2 on page but not active yet.

  6. This is looking more and more like a walk thru. Hopefully it will look as good as some of the pics people have posted lately. Not that this won't be "thrilling", especially for kids, I just wonder if there is more to it than a walk thru. Not necessarily a ride vehicle, but a year round haunt attraction. It could be done in a creepy atmosphere where you have to "survive" from being eaten. This is just a random thought. If i was a betting man, I would say its just a walk thru.

Look around, pre announcement made and yes a dino walk thru.

FYI, does anyone know if the Action Theater is in use for this year and if so what is showing?

  7. What I think is most important is that people know about both. You don't have to be bludgeoned over the head with WindSeeker propoganda to know it exists. Those who want to ride it know that it's there. Just because the marketing doesn't focus soley and completely on one ride doesn't mean it isn't getting out there. Notice that every article about the mystery attraction notes that it is in addition to WindSeeker, a 301' tall swing ride that travels 30 mph... etc. etc.

Word is out there that WindSeeker is new, and I'm sure that the website will again highlight it once traffic starts arriving in response to tomorrow's announcement.

Well could this be a distraction/addtion to WindSeeker for those who are there waiting for others in line.

Some will ride WindSeeker and some will not so give them an alternative in that area.

Or do we see worse that this is a distraction (like reverse racers when Bat had issues)?

Would love to see something like old fashioned cars/dinosaur vehicles back again.

  8. Outside some rides are signs that say count the signs, or something similar and report the answer to the attendant to get your points for prizes???? Anyone know anything about this?
