  1. http://www.wlwt.com/ might show up here later or tomorrow.
  2. ^^Indyguy, you're right....interesting.
  3. I'm sure they got their decoding information from Screamscape....the source of accurate decoding information for everything coaster.
  4. Also the blue prints in the video don't appear to have a midcourse break run....do you think this might mean 2 train operation?
  5. On the Mindbender at SFOG, a turn IS a loop. ;-) I remember when it was advertised as the world first (and I believe this to be true) inverted loop (or such)....That was a corny way to pull out a world record....LOL
  6. Well....you cant tell from the blue prints if it is a wingrider....pretty sure that they were only guessing since no official word was coming from Kings Island. Also, inverts leave a row of 4 riders hanging from the edge of the track too.
  7. They said "at least" four loops....but don't forget they said that Diamondback had two loops....
  8. I'm guessing it wont be much information....yay!
  9. I think the boarding plaza has to look awesome if they go with the Banshee theme.....I see an Irish Castle ruins with a Celtic grave yard.
  10. It's quite possible too that News 5 will start to show us the blueprints....and then not show us anything...."on this covered easel are the blue prints to "it"...blah blah blah....go to the park on Thursday August 8th to find out about it...." (I hope that's what they do for the sake of the announcement.)
  11. at 11:49 in the video it looks like there are two barrel rolls between the helixes, that would make 8 inversions.
  12. Hope they don't screw things up for the announcement...as if most of the information hasn't already been "decoded". Hard to keep something a secret these days...
  13. Will this be the plaza/entrance for the ride or is this just where the announcement will take place? Or both? Looks like the start of a graveyard.
  14. ^^It's pushing it...I'm sure....but there will be a lot of speed coming off the hillside to the brake run....MCBR might be visible from the midway.
  15. This is my guess for the layout of the track. track layout guess by upstop2, on Flickr
  16. Those cars are rather confining....even for little ole me... They are like The Vortex's cars Yes...only smaller in the shoulder area.
  17. Those cars are rather confining....even for little ole me...
  18. With a few adjustments, I'm sure Vekoma trains could fit Vortex.
  19. Best sounding ride.....The Haunted Mansion of course Best smelling ride....Soaring over California....(orange grove scent)
  20. ^^ depends on how far along the footers are.
  21. Just out of curiosity....is that supposed to be an "evidence" tag on the brush? Do you think it is a hint that maybe there is more to this than just a coaster?...maybe a haunted attraction at the end of the queue line before the rollercoaster ride itself?
  22. Coming from the person with 12 posts. Do some history research and you will see that a looping wooden coaster is nothing new nor was SoB anywhere near the first. What does his number of posts have to do with his knowledge? That's like saying someone who drives a crappy car can't possibly know anything about cars or saying someone who has never played baseball doesn't really know anything about the game. I believe his confusion is over the choice of words when the ride was first marketed with it being a wooden coaster and looping. I don't recall the exact words but I believe it was something along the lines saying it was the first wooden looping coaster or largest looping wooden coaster or something. I may be wrong on that. It wasn't the first as we know but it was the only wooden roller coaster operating at that the time it opened with a loop if I do recall correctly. You are correct. KI marketing said the "only looping wooden coaster" not the first.
  23. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_loop
  24. Actually, a steeper incline means a higher drop....not really a record, but there is a shorter distance to the top on this coaster for the assumed lift area....or maybe a launch about halfway up the hill like The Hulk.
  25. Yes....yes it does....Looks like transfer track.
