Dieslwilkey, you just might have something there....(at least about the Friday the 13.)
-
This seems to be pretty accurate, but there are footers on the left near the fence. If you flip the high banked curve to the left and then back under the track I think you have something!
-
By looking at these pictures, A) Someone was tresspassing Someone is going to lose their job for taking pictures onsite and posting them on a fansite. Actually, the photos were taken from spaces in the fence in many different locations. I'm not an employee of KI, just so that those at the park don't become too concerned.

more construction photos for your enjoyment. http://www.flickr.com/photos/95776358@N02/sets/72157634292640165/

I wonder if Taft Broadcasting has/had any film footage....Maybe even Kings Island has some film footage stored somewhere....anyone at KingsIslandPR have any idea?

Very good memories!!!

Why not ditch the light show and do a Snoopy parade with lighted floats using the old Nickelodeon parade path.

His name (from a couple of pages ago is Patrick Michael) Seems to have removed the so called blueprint videos. Everything else he has is like tour videos. However, the upper left of his main page there is a small picture that looks like a blueprint name section with "Kings Island - 2014 project". Take it with a grain of salt....on buttered popcorn....Yum!

You should ride with my friend and I. When we ride Tilt a Whirl we nearly weld the ball bearings together.
-
The You tube guy has also removed some of his videos......I wonder why?
-
BTW....rode Adventure Express last Sunday, and several trees to the right of the train near the final helix before the "volcano" tunnel, were cut down and stacked....several meaning less than four. More could be cut now. Can anyone confrim?

I think Banshee is a perfect name for the coaster, (or whatever it is).....A Banshee announces a death in the family......SOB is dead and Banshee is announcing the death....

UnrealNightmare you are correct. Sorry, got the stats from RCDB, and they list them all by name, According to RCDB, one Batman clone has been relocated twice and one Raptor was relocated. Batman clone Thrill Valley as Gambit 1995 to 2002 Six Flags New Orleans as Batman: The Ride 2003 to 2005 SBNO from 8/2005 to 3/2007 Six Flags Fiesta Texas as Goliath 2008 to present Raptor clone Expoland as Orochi Operated from 1996 to 12/9/2007 Operated from 1996 to 12/9/2007 Walygator Parc as Monster Operating since 7/9/2010 Also, I never mentioned Katun, it is a custom design from B&M.

For B&M Inverts there are: 16 custom designs 14 Batman clones 3 Raptor clones (and a partridge in a pear tree...)

I uploaded this picture waaaaay back at the beginning of this thread (somewhere around page 25 I think) as my first thoughts on the path of the coaster, (or whatever it is) Now, I think it is dropping off the lift, to the right into a sweeping arc that ends in an immelmann loop that arcs to the left. Then it arcs back down under the track to go into a loop. From there onward no guesses.

I think the weight of the lights along with the weight of new growth have killed quite a few of the trees. Nearly all of the trees around the tower that had lights on them are gone.

This would be an incredible mascot for the coaster....and the color scheme for the track and cars would be awesome!
-
True, but to some folks, The Beast is the Devil.....666 and all that. If I remember correctly, there were boards with catch phrases on The Beast queue line loading platform such as " all is for The Beast" that disappeared a couple of seasons later. Can anyone remember any of the other catch phrases?

Same concept as Griffon, without the reasuring curve outward from the drop. Hope they have very good restraints, otherwise.....kersplat! -
One time I was waiting in line for SOB and they had to super-shove the bar down on a big guy. He had to cross his legs and suck in his stomach to fit. When the car got back his legs from his cuff line on his shorts to his crossed ankles was "rug" burned until he was bleeding......not my idea of a fun ride....and for him it was definitely fast and rough.

In the words of Mick Jagger " You can't....always get...what chu waaant."

The death in the family of rollercoasters at KI was SOB.

I like both Sheikra and Montu....hey how about a diving inverted coaster with a splashdown....
-
Yes Hulk is a launcher, but the launching system was not a B&M idea, at least that is what I read someplace.
-
I think I heard once that B&M would be interested in creating a launch version of a coaster if a park wanted it....wouldn't it be cool to have an invert that stops someplace and then launches through more.....maybe at the midpoint. With hints of a paranormal theme that would be interesting.
