i can't beleive that i forgot this one, one time i was setting the recar's final break run and there were two older men telling me that each roller coaster in the park had one giant "light switch" that controled the roller coasters power suppy.

-
i like the roll over at the top of the hill, and i also like the loop if i am in the very back seat b/c it feels like your feet are going to be pulled through the little thing they set on.

"all of the riders fall out durring the ride."(while pointing to the empty trains on fof.)
-
I've seen the favorite ride topic but it was for anywhere, so I was wondering what is your favorite ride in Kings Island?
wooden: Son of Beast
steel: Firehawk
flat: tie between Delirium and Drop Tower

I seriously think it's crazy that they'd change The Racer. Cedar Fair seriously needs to stop changing everything. They're too ... intense about everything. We know that the right one is shorter, so it will always "win" in a sense. I also know from my experience working there, the workers on that ride really don't want to have to deal with actually racing them again. I think this is a really stupid decision on Cedar Fair's part. I WANT MY PARAMOUNT BACK!
you do know if Cedar Fair didn't buy Kings Island there wouldn't be a Firehawk or a Flight of Fear.
-
That would be a little difficult, to put it mildly.
i ment making the park a big circle without anyway to cut across it.
-
i just hope they arn't turning the park layout into the one that Cedar Point has one path at a time.

1995- Drop Zone / Splat City
1994- Days of Thunder

1973- Kenton's Cover Keelboat Canal / Bayern Curve

so, is this year to be a first since 1980?
Drop zone was bulid in two years wow i didnt know that. 1995 and 1999, What year did it really come out
The first Drop Zone was EXtreme Skyflyer, but it was orginally named Drop Zone. And in 1998 we got Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster. And what about Sling Shot? Didn't we get in in 02' or 03?
oh ok i didnt know that. Thinks for clearing that up.
Also on the slig shot topic. I think they should have placed it back by Vortex. I thinks it would better back there instead of the trampoline thing.
would there be enough room back in that area? because i thought the drop zone that was suppost to go there resembled superman tower of power insted of what it looks like.

The first time i ever watched Tribute To The 2004 season i heard Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day and i have loved that song ever since. Now every time i hear it, it reminds me of Kings Island.
so i'm not the only one that has songs that remind me of Kings Island.

You know, your common spelling mistakes, bad grammar, attitude, and logic are very similar to someone we once knew.....what his name....Jimbo, Jay, Jelly bean......oh yeah.....JacksonPKI!
Who?

i'm guessing that sounded funnier in your head?

Not many people seemed to notice a smal detail missing from all of Cedar Point's height guides at all the entrances last year...
Can you spot the error...?

where was that sign at? i don't remember seeing that last year.

i thought that it was built in 1999, but was first going to be built in 1995 where the trampolines are.

Really i am kind of excited they did this because now i get to see what it was like back when it first opened with both sides going forward.
no you won't, unless they removed the seatbelts

-
the Backward Racer was closed SO very much. (During the weekdays it could have almost been re-named "The Coaster With A Garbage Can In Front Of It's Line"...can't you just picture merchandise with that name.)
Isn't funny how things make sence?

isn't it funny how you will say just about anything to leave a post?

Sounds great!! maybe we can get a 2nd kids land at Kings Island One day????
But good for Cedar Point it sounds wonderful for the kids:
where exactly is this located in the park?
-
^ I have to agree. I do miss the loop, but I'll take no loop over the insane pain that it caused anyday.
i loved the roughness of Son of Beast and the loop, now that it has been "neutered" it is to smooth and i don't like it as well. although i have found that the very back of The Beast is sorta rough like it's son
-
Very true. I love the holiday episodes.
Christmas isn't Christmas without Charlie Brown.neither is halloween

-
^ Along with that, I am going to guess that the brakes need to be moved, the blocks need to be moved.
And I can only guess that state regulations will make them do a certain amount of cycles before they put their stamp of approval on it.
and don't the air gates on the recar side open the opposite way of The Racer?

-
Don't get me wrong, I love the Peanuts but really, how many kids sit down and watch them now?
well more would most likely watch them if they were on more often, besides on holidays.
-
What needs to be done to make the Backwards side forwards?
first they have to redo the trains so they can travel forward, then they have to move the blue trains to one side then the red trains to the other. unless they are just going to paint the trains on the side they are on.
-
my least favorite roller coaster would have to be cedar creek mine ride at Cedar Point. i don't even think it got over ten miles an hour
-
does anyone have a list of the rides that will be in operation this year at math and science day?
-
well i guess some of the same things were being said when they turned the backwards racer backwards, but if it was such a hit in '82 as it was in '07 why change it for any reason but to save money? and as i said earlier they took the choice of your ride experience and shoved it down the toilet.
and since both are now going forward, will they both be open on math and science day this year?
Do you like getting stuck on a ride?

i have no idea why but i love the feeling of being stuck on a ride, it just gives me an extra boost of adrenalin i need for the day.
