  1. I do not speak for the forum management, owners or operators. CoastersRZ, a mod here, has offered to change the caption, should you kindly inform him where it is, if it is on this site.

    Seems pretty gracious to me...

it is where you first go into the roller coaster photos from the picture gallery menu and it is in the caption talking about The Beast on the folder for its pictures

  2. I cannot speak for a photo gallery caption, but I can categorically say The Beast never qualified for this dubious honor.

In these days and with current industry standards, why on earth anyone would want to recognize coasters that do not meet widely accepted modern day safety standards for new installations is totally beyond me.

o.k. well sorry for this forum. do with it what you want

  3. why wasn't The Beast stripped of its ace coaster classic award? the only reason i ask this is because the blue streak at Cedar Point was stripped of its ace coaster classic award because they added seat belts to the trains. so why didn't the same thing happen when they added the seat belts to The Beast?

sorry if anything like this has already been posted

  4. I was just saying my most recent KI dream, I've had PLENTY theme park dreams weirder than that. To name a few...

    1. Back in 2004, I had a dream Action Zone and Oktoberfest were redone. Days of Thunder was replaced by a very compact log flume maybe three stories tall. Drop Zone, Congo Falls, Son of Beast, Face/Off, and Delirium were removed. At the same time, Timberwolf had been converted into an indoor theater with two sides, and performing was Cosmo and Wanda (for those who don't know, they're teh pink and green haired fairies in Fairly Odd Parents on Nickelodeon). I stumbled upon a brochure on the ground, and it showcased the coming attractions- A ride with two sets of tracks- one maybe seven feet above the other- would be in the area. The track was very similar to Demon Drop's form, but the ride flipped you and dropped you several times. Very interesting, but rough. Another ride was a hyper-coaster similar to Nitro, and a pedaling bikes (monorail cycles) attraction that traveled under a non-existent wooden roller coaster.

the real cosmo and wanda or people dressed up like them?

  5. You watched the Goodybe Zoey?

    No comment on that.

But I've had my share of KI dreams. A moth ago I dreamed I saw an article in the Pulse Journal with a small overview of Oktoberfest, near Sling Shot, which showed the new ride. It could be summed up as a tumble-bug that had circling track that traveled around its center several time, so instead of one circle, it was a spiral of circles, the final returning to teh station by going over teh others (or vice versa).

I didn't know if it was a dream or not when I woke up, so I recovered both the Pulse Journal and Cincinnati Enquirer from the trash when I woke up and scavaged them for any signs it was true

well that is nothing once i had a dream that i was on Son of Beast and something broke on it causing a support failure which caused the rosebowl to collapes, then the next day after i told my mom about it, the news came on and Son of Beast was shut down because of an accident which later was anounced that it was caused by a structure failure

Wow, can you see into the future? ;)

Along time ago before Dragster was built, before i ever heard of Cedar Point i had a dream i was there riding Dragster, and Millenium Force (only it was a B&M that just did zero gravity rolls.) But the point is i had a dream about Dragster before it was made.

i don't know i mean i have had many of those deja vu dreams but this was the first one that actually scared me when it came true

  7. I hope Bubba Gump doesn't leave, its a real nice resturaunt

Plus I don't think it will, It has nothing to do with paramount.

Wait, paramount made the Bubba Gump movie. DARN!

have you not seen forest gump? if not in the movie there was a guy named bubba gump and it was his dream to open a shrimp shack but he died before it happened. thus giving you all of the things advertising forest gump in the restutaunt

so it is tied into paramount

  8. yea, how do you take pictures from a pen-drive and post them?

    never mind

    http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg96/co...pg?t=1198292201

this is the only good picture i took of an amusment park this year

Were you at a place with like a light house and stuff when you took this? Because that picture looks very simaler to a picture that I took a while back from when we took a trip to CP.

if you are talking about a place with a short and fat light house then yes

  9. IMO I find White Water Canyon to have a longer queue but know one ever complains about it.......

that is because wwc is a long enough ride you can take a breather while on it before you have to take the walk back

and top gun has a longer queue than wwc

  10. Italian Job Stunt Crap.

    laughing! That was cute.

This surprises me. Most people seem to like TG. I wouldn't call it a favorite of mine either, but I really don't want to see it go...that's just one less coaster to ride.

where are these most people at? because i only know a few that ride it because they like it. majority of the people i know ride it just because it is there.

  11. I'd rather see Top Gun removed before repainted, it's the worst ride in the park. Well, second worst- still can't get crappier than Italian Job Stunt Crap.

look at the bright side at least with the italian job you don't have to walk threehundred miles to rest your feet for like twenty seconds and then rewalk the three hundred miles
