Yes! I have seen an unofficial picture of at least one train on the final brake run.. they could've backed it up to be there.. buut.. I have a feeling it was moving forward. That's why I think the rumblings are happening.. or people are just leaking word of mouth.

I skipped all the spoiler stuff, but just reading the top part, this ridr sounds so amazing. It's so cool riding something with no tracks, you have no idea where it will go! I did it at Kennywood, so I cant even imagine how far Universal is going with this!

Yes.. same thing for Verbolten at Busch Gardens, I won't be surprised now.. actually, even for Wonder Mountain's Guardian at Canada's Wonderland.. I thought it was just a technical excuse to be considered a coaster, so I just kept watching the POV's trying to gauge if it was actually a good ride, but then one video actually showed fairly well what happens at the end.. oops.

I think one day Id like to try it, just so that I can know what it's like.. but I feel like Im going to prefer not having a VR headset over having one. How do they know these won't fall off? Or be taken off?

I'll have to hope for a policy change for next year that might say you can ride each ride two or three times with Fast Lane, or something of the sort. It seems like it will be used the same way for 2016

Oh, my bad. You did this post first. I went to a thread I thought fit the news a little better. Didnt know you beat me to it.

I was looking at the ride animation, which nowadays, is a very good representation of what the ride may end up as, especially from Cedar Fair, and I noticed that it looks like the third car of the train has slightly more space between it and the car in front. The 2nd train has slightly less space between it and the car in front of it. Anyone else able to distinguish this from the animations?

And so another game stand is no more. Looks like drink lines at the Snake Pit will be lessened slightly.. where are the other locations, one might wonder.

But when there's a will there's a new, but similar way.. and there's also the easier way to deal with it.

The one with the white tower on the left of the facade is pictured, and that's the same one that was demolished. I was confused about the angles at first too.I think, unless it was structurally unsound, Kings Island had a missed opportunity to simply put the queue inside of that building. Roughly the same amount space, prettier to see than canvas coverings, more western inmersion, could've had some theming or Diamondback factoids inside.. just a thought.

Oktoberfest feels a little neglected. It has some nice things like Adventure Express and Viking Fury, has gotten some attention through the conversion into Hank's Burrito Shack. But it's fairly lacking as the things that stand out are advertised cars off the main path, a t-shirt art stand, and how virtually nothing has anything to do with Oktoberfest. I think overall, Cedar Fair has done well adhering to the lacking areas of Kings Island past getting a revamped Action Zone, additions to the kid's area, Rivertown being reborn, though not totally positive as far as theming is concerned, adding a second attraction back where FOF once was a lonely (non-additional charged) attraction.. There's still work to be done to make the park feel complete everywhere, for sure. But, at least we are much closer than we have been in the recent past.
