  1. I was gonna agree with you, but I wanted to wait till a photo was posted. You (we) were right! *high five* Exposure is off but, you can still tell what it is. https://www.instagram.com/p/BCLrW5KOOOT/
  2. Ugh. I despise the unfolded ones lol. Good thing I don't need to use a map at KI.Good for having if you want to display it but... in practical use, I find it nicer to have a prefolded map. It's just one or two further folds to being pocket friendly... Well, for men's pants.
  3. You sure? I would've sworn it was at least a half hour
  4. A lot of people see the line at the entrance and assume it's not worth the wait and don't get in line. Even though from the entrance it's maybe 45 minutes long, if I remember right.. and before Fast Lane, probably even faster.
  5. Locations were only presumed based on webcams and social media pictures.
  6. I dont want smokers under a ride that thousands of people ride everyday..
  7. Both still have giga's though. 1% is still something, especially if the total is a big number. 1 % of 2 million is 20,000 people. Kings Island hit 2million people in their debut year. But you're right, you have a point. EDIT: that last point wasnt supposed to be sarcastic and condescending, as it seems to read. I really meant you have a point in that we've had a new coaster more recently than them.
  8. I must be getting stronger! This bag feels so light! Pressuming a dslr of some sort.
  9. It really ought to be implemented. It may drive in a higher price for the increased cup stock for the parks, or for lower quality cups being used for the season pass all season drinks holders. But I think that's ten-folds better than bringing your cup everywhere, spending money on lockers or risking someone stealing it from the bins because now it's a valuable, unattended item.
  10. I was hoping you'd take it that way. I haven't heard about the dinos going extinct...again...so I hope they will be. It's a nice walk in the woods for those of us Jurassic Park fans. Or fans of cows, and human vocalizations.
  11. It's not yours. -Dolly. Satire; not immpersonation.
  12. You're goal kick must have to be preceeded by a 200yd length sprint. (Please dont ruin my joke and actually measure the distance via satelite )
  13. Third drop of the triple down on Voyage. In the dark, warm air, smell of wood (slaughtered and living), sudden final airtime. It's the best memory ever. So far.
  14. I hope not! (As long as it is replaced by something else) Otherwise it can stay
  15. Good to hear as I make my first visit to the park this year! I hope they do that for Lightning Rod aswell!
  16. Yeeaaaa... gonna try to experience this park before it's gone again
  17. This guy has a lot of great photos that are regularly shared on KK's Facebook page. https://m.facebook.com/upstopmedia/ He also has some nice shots of Lightning Rod at Dollywood
  18. When it was opened it was one of those entertainment parks that are located in touristy areas. http://www.boomersparks.com/ https://www.google.com/maps/place/Boomers/@26.0545287,-80.158994,247m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m7!1m4!3m3!1s0x0:0x0!2zMjbCsDAzJzE2LjAiTiA4MMKwMDknMzQuMyJX!3b1!3m1!1s0x88d9aa43656b093b:0x117465316167003b!6m1!1e1 EDIT- Too slow!
  19. Discovery/Daily Planet actually made a great little video about it: I was wrong.. partially. No spray, but they have to be on the structure and basically on the rails of their baskets!
  20. Something like that is not done for no reason. Whether it would affect us? I can't say.
  21. General tips. Remember that what you are embarking on is something that is safer than riding in a car on the highway. Millions on people have already embarked on the rides at Kings Island and have lived to tell the tale. You are safer than your instincts tell you. Learn to trust you're logic. Firehawk- This ride has a tight-ish vest thing, but you're legs likely won't be pinned down. It's okay. You won't fall as long as you're sitting normally. This probably shouldn't be you're first ride. Diamondback-enjoy your ride. I recommend sitting in the middle of the train so you never get sudden bursts of airtime. It's very smooth and just remember that it may look steep, but when you're on it, it's not gonna feel extremely steep.. it'll just be.. a hill. It's not like you're going straight down. Drop Tower- when you think you've stopped moving, you havent. You've merely slowed to a crawl. Pinpoint on two objects and notice how their boundaries will still move passed each other. You can hear the motor humming when you're at this point, and right when you hear it stop. That is when you are about to drop. Maybe 2 seconds after. Just try to breathe while you're are falling. Your tendency to tense up will make you not breathe and stress you out a bit. Vortex.. anticipate the banks and the turns. Sit in the middle to not have much airtime, sit towards the back to have a smoother ride. Lean your head away from where the force should take you. (If there is a quick bank from left, banking right, lean you're head to the right and keep you're attempt to the right. The force will make you're head go left, but if you do it right, you should end up not hitting the left side of the restraint. Xtreme Skyflyer- dont be the one to pull it if you're nervous. Have the person count down when they pull. It's just a giant swing. Again, understand those cables are strong enough to hold much much more weight than you are going to inflict on them.. you are fine. Slingshot- askde from maybe one or two flips. This ride is not going to be as intense as one might expect. Just remember that the fastest part is the beginning and that is basically just gonna feel like accelerating in a car. I think as long as you remember what these rides are, and remind yourself that these things safely have had riders for years, you may get yourself to remain clam ish.. but maybe screaming or laughing might make you have more excitement and less anxiety when riding
  22. 99% ? I dont know of anyone that can accurately predict weather nearly 2 months in advanced haha
  23. Tours?! Trips?! Why.. oh my.. i hope I have the opportunity to not be working when these are happening... well. If Im hired. I gotta grab my camera. Also need to grab my composure.
