Congratulations. You will have an awesome summer and be sure to reap the benefits that KI is gracious giving you (park admissions, employee events, scholarships, etc.) Whichever fits your desires and needs.

Maybe it can have patio seating like how Reds Hall of Fame Grille has! Does one have to request patio seats to get there? I've never had the pleasure the two times I went.

Cedar Point 2016 Talk
calakapepe replied to Bansheeback's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Probably similarly to how our Xtreme Skyflyer was done. By being on the actual structure and spraying it. -
Yes! If they aren't allowed to use the old color scheme, don't! Orange, Teal, Purple, Green... or is that Knott what they would like.. -- Or might as well make it an all-american theme since it's almost there right now haha

That's because it is. It's very traditional appearance standards; very outdated. But.. it's their company so..
-
Personally, I think these things look incredibly tacky if not themed to the level that Sea World and Disney would do it. See Journey to Atlantis in Orlando. The track is almost completely unseen.. low to the ground where it is.. unlike Europa Park

Something nice is never frowned upon.. but you shouldn't need formal attire.

You can have long hair as a male at Kings Island already... as long as you're employed during Halloween Haunt I also approve of both. Tattoos, are going to need be a case-by-case allowance though as every so often you will probably get a person with a tattoo that.. ultimately, is just unacceptable for Cedar Fair. I would greatly recommend no beard if you're in food though.

I didn't mean that getting hit wouldn't be a bad thing, or that it wouldn't hurt. I only meant I haven't heard of it being a problem.. meaning a lack of it happening.. (enough to need something to catch falling items) I hope it was at least.. a clean-ish flip flop

I think the dryer is possible.. however.. I don't understand why people are so concerned about Diamondback passing over here; where the partial net is in place. Diamondback opened with The Crypt entrance being right under the lowest point of the slope. No net there and I haven't heard of any problems while The Crypt was operating. The helix itself is mostly un-netted and if you were to drop something during the first half of the helix, especially if you're on the left side of the train, you're going to probably hit someone.. and thus far, I have not ever heard of anyone getting hit with things there either. That's just how I see it. I don't think the safety rules anything out.. if it is suddenly decided it actually is too unsafe for loose articles, more net can be installed, I presume.

This new path makes me think it's just a new path to get into Madame Fatele's Cavern of Terror.. and in the distant future, a prettier entrance to get into a different ride rather than Diamondback's track dipping in view

I thought it was the one by the photo spot under the MCBR

What a sleezy tease if that's what meant by "new for 2016"

Vortex! That what I wanted and that's actually what I got

Similarly, when large groups don't enter the queue at the same time, and I end up entering somewhere in the middle.. if the group or at least one person doesn't let me and/ or my completely unified group in front of them, that tends to get on my nerves. It's far less drastic as someone trying to cut to reach an alleged group.. but, it's the same principle in my eyes. If you got in line before the back end of your group, you join the sluggers who aren't walking fast enough for you. Take it up with them if it bothers you; you're the one in the humongous group size.

Well yeah, but what does that have to do with the tree clearing around DB? Particularly around the not-so-tall sections?
-
Are you referring to the ravine clearing? I don't always understand your crytpic points.. but maybe thats intentional

Article: Designing Phantom Theater (Theme Park University)
calakapepe replied to TombRaiderFTW's topic in Kings Island
Tell that to the group of 22 KICers who took over Flying Ace on closing day a few years ago. Nothing wrong with wanting to be like a kid sometimes! -
But if this came to fruition, would those trees still exist .. hmmm Diamondback comes to mind.

I agree aswell, except, I feel like Flying Ace Aerial Chase is, in fact, for kids.. (the one you referred to as former Reptar ride)[emoji14] -
