I'm not sold on the idea on the probability of sharing these devices with thousands of other people every day. Sure a theme park is going to be a very dirty place anyways sharing the seats and the lapbars being touched by everyone.. but these things are on your head. They will come in contact with our hair and be pressed up against our face... You can always wash your hands (And face, I suppose) but I'm not about to bring shampoo to the park, so if someone has something like lice, or even less extreme like really flaky dandruff, their skin is going to probably reside in my scalp for most of the day. Someone will have an extremely oily face.. especially during a scorcher. Maybe I'm a germ-a-phobe, but I just don't like that process.. Also, what will this do to the already slow capacity numbers of some of Kings Island's rides? -

Since you're asking me... I have no idea [emoji14] -
But have you seen the high res image and it zoomed in? Its clearly a rollercoaster loop.. looks like Banshee's second vertical loop.

Despite the "one-path" set-up for these mazes... guests will often veer into a curtain that's actually intended for the scare actors and/or for emergency exits.. so they seem to act as mazes in that regard

So what's up with this "power hour" crap on Banshee last night?
calakapepe replied to Keysersoze's topic in Kings Island
I don't know which is more likely, just which one would happen frequently over the years of end of the night operation. -

Couldn't even check Cedar Point's page to see a video of Cedar Point'S coaster? Do they assume Any new ride animation for 2016 is the only one? -

Also wanna add that when Diamondback is going through power hour, they might send the trains too frequently and cause it to pause at the MCBR. Which basically makes the last part of the ride have no airtime and kills the fun by making you stop completely. . Similar to another KI coaster. Keep it Rollin. -

I could also argue Planet Snoopy has a spinning coaster. But I dont agree with that statement. [emoji14] (Just teasing. You can love whichever coaster you want. Its 2015, it's a new time) -
Auditioning for/Working at Halloween Haunt?
calakapepe replied to muppetfan1999's topic in Kings Island
Some people get the job just because they get the job, other people have been asked to act something out. But cool that you have something to do this fall-oween! There will be some loong nights (particularly when it rains and its dead) but there will be some fun times too. -
Im all for for the limited uses, yes its good to offer the opportunity for people willing to spend the dough to have a better experience, but when someone's marathoning on a ride 3 or more times before some people even get halfway through the line.. it makes the days experience dampened for the normal guest visitor.. which, the park should be trying to make their day special as much as the Fast Pass patreon. Maybe Fast Lane and Fright Lane barcodes could be loaded onto your season pass information so that you just present that instead of a wristband or a necklace with a card.

I will be there.. but I likely will not be seen.

At least this time its more of just pride and not arrogance. I cant help but laugh at that picture of him on Chang though XD

I'll pass. In the world of wing coasters, smaller's better.

I think they'd improve a giga experience a little more, just as B&M did from Leviathan to Fury 325.. but if its on par with one of them, I dearly hope we dont end up with that floating final brake run... looks soo tacky. I don't know that Kings Island really needs a wing coaster anyways. If you want one there's one 3 and 4 and 5 and another one 5 hours away. Until wing coasters became staples at parks, which I wouldnt expect.. Though the only one I've found to be done well enough for me to love is Thunderbird. It manuevers in a more exciting way. Wasn't there talk of Six Flags possibily having bought a contract of exclusivity with RMC in the US? Or at least recently? I'll regurgitate this opinion.. but I'd love a Mack LSM launched ride... particularly around the heniously outdated, dinosaurs area... not sure if it was intended irony or not..

I agree, I was hoping a bridge would go over the bottom of the drop like Griffon and there'd be a sensible access to the ride (closer to a straight line). Instead of you're at Rougarou.. you have to come go around the inversions, and then make a straight 90° turn. Not really a big quarrel.. but it's just a weird thing to do. Kinda in the same way that there's no longer a quick way to the other side of what used to be Swan Lake at Kings Island. You go around the restaurant and the first drop, or you go alll the waayy around the International Showplace and several concessions. -

Dragster manages to push the envelope not in its layout but in its height, speed, and acceleration being unmet anywhere else but New Jersey. That said, people do still complain about its short ride time despite its incredible experience. Everyone wants different things, no ride can have it all no matter how hard you try, even with all the money in the world. For example, I am pleased with what CP is getting, however I do not dismiss some of the criticisms about the typical layout. It would've been cool to see some new things tried out. What? Idk, when you consider the size of the trains.. I do not know. So I am still happy. -

Probably more due to the fact that the trains are so short rather than the train dragging on the chain and anti-rollbacks. That, and the train is already over the edge before it drops. -

Probably not going to happen as everyone can see the ride operate before they get on.. unless they are the very very first ones.. which probably means they've cared enough to have looked at the animation video. -

The restraints being too tight were fixed. But I disagree, and Im in the minority. And count one avoided a one word post. -
I agree, though it could still happen. I'd be more worried about that award not coming to KI again on a year that the kid's area had not received a major overhaul or a new addition.

Same restraints. Note that if you had the problems with tightening vests on Gatekeeper opening year, those problems have been fixed, and Banshee received the fixed restraints to begin with. "fixed" Count one. -
As is Banshee

It also is a very close color scheme being right next to Rougarou..
