  1. I really don't think it's a coaster. I don't know why buy I feel like it's some sort of water ride going in. I just can't see a coaster in that area with WWC, KI&MVRR, Picnic Grove and RFYLCB all being in that one spot... Plus the reservoirs for WWC being in that area as well. I know I there is quite a lot of space there but I just can't see it... Unless they get rid of Picnic Grove all together. Only time will tell..... Who knows maybe we are getting Shoot The Rapids from CP :P.... Yes I am clearly joking about that last part and know that is not a possibility.... Nor would I want that ride at KI.

  2. I rode it and most of everything did not work at all.... At least in the car we rode in the blasters worked but over half of the targets didn't work and most of the props were broken and didn't move..... They didn't seem to give the ride any attention during the off season

  3. I hope everyone who is going tonight has an awesome time. I cant wait till tomorrow even though I won't get there until probably 3 or 4pm.....that wonderful time of year is finally here again.... Warmer weather, ki opens up, rain instead of snow...... Love this time of year lol.

  4. I like boo blasters and have quite a bit of fun on the ride but I would honestly like to see a new dark ride. I feel like even when they do repair the props and blasters it doesn't take long for them to break again. There are times when I have ridden the ride where hardly anything is working at all. I would love a new dark ride but honestly I'd rather not have a shooting dark ride if we ever get a new one. We could hope that they have fixed all of the props and blasters for this season but I just have a feeling that that's not the case. While I'd like a new dark ride I honestly hope this one doesn't end up closing mid way through the season if a new ride is going to replace it. This is one ride my wife and I can ride together since she has gotten to the point where she gets sick while riding most of the rides at ki. If they were to close this one early that's one less ride we could ride together.

  5. I'm right there with ya magenta... I do too care much for beer but am willing to try some new things and I feel like this might be a good way to do that.... I don't wanna pay $10 for one type of beer at the store and then not even like it as to where with this, I can try many different types and the food sounds like it will be good

  6. Ah ok. I just found it weird how they worded it on the app. How it was worded on the app, it looked like they were charging season pass holders and also had the pass holder bring a friend option for the same price. I didn't check the actual website since I'm on my phone. Guess I should have taken a closer look at it.

Edited to add that the season pass picture they used was that of a gold pass which is what confused me

  8. I was just looking at the ki app under the Dinosaurs Alive! Page and it looks like they are back to charging pass holders to get into the trail. I know most of you don't really care about the attraction but I know some of you with kids who do like the attraction might find this upsetting. Granted it looks like the price is only $2.50 to get in but still. I find it funny since the last season or two they looked pass holders to go in for free.

  9. Let the countdown begin... I've just recently (within the last few days/also last night) renewed my wife and I's season passes and are planning on going to opening day even though it is sure to be crowded... She doesn't like riding most of the rides anymore but she does like walking around with me at the park. I really cant wait till next weekend which means it's gonna be a very long week for me

  10. I didn't notice the cannon last year either but I had seen it in there in prior years. Most of the props were in the actual museum portion of the maze, pretty much the middle of it.

The giant rat is also used in Board to Death in the Mouse Trap room

I knew I saw some others in other mazes but I couldn't remember which props they were. As for Madame Fatales they used to have the Cannon in there as well as last year they had the mummy coffin in there. There are a few others I believe like one of the romantic guards statues in there if I remember right. I don't remember all of thr props used in there but there were like three or four that I remember pointing out that were from Phantom Theater.
  11. This makes me really excited. We haven't had a good dark ride since Phantom Theater imo... I would love for them to take a spin with the story of the ammunition factory. Only problem I see with that route though is I could see some one complaining about it being insensitive towards the families that lost loved ones in the explosions but I hear stories about that every year when Haunt starts.

  12. I seriously can't wait for this. I plan on going Fri night and on opening day. I am so giddy and keep jumping up and down pretty much when I think about the new season :) and as far as which rides will be open I'm pretty sure that it would be all of them because I know in the past they started doing dry run days for the park so the employees could get back into the rhythm of things and for new hires to get a good feel for their job. Plus it's a way to get the rides to slowly get back up and running in hopes that they won't be down as much for opening day. Not saying this is what it really is though.

  13. The furnace is used in Slaughterhouse I believe and some of the props are already used in Madame Fatales from what I could see. I haven't seen many props being used during Haunt like they used to do but there are still a few being used.

  14. I got the season long plan last year and loved it. I never really ate in the park before due to the costs but with the plan I was willing to stay in the park longer. As someone said earlier, when you do the math it pays for itself in just 5 visits to the park (if you get both meals in one day) I personally only used it once each time I visited last year but that's because I would go in the evening but I used it every time I went as well. I think it's a great option if you plan on visiting often during the season. On a side note, will you be able to use the plan during season pass preview night? I assume you would be able to but I figured I would try to find out before I go
