There are probably more than you think. Its a rarity on wood coasters though. The only woodies with multiple lifts I know of are Beast and Twister at Knoebels.
There are plenty of steel coasters that have multiple lifts, including a lot of Arrow and Vekoma mine train style coasters, Iron Dragon, Ninja, Loch Ness Monster, Dragon at Ocean Park in Hong Kong, Ultimate @ Lightwater Valley, Mystery Mine, Smiler, and more.

Maybe they can rename it Poultryhouse?

Since the crane is at UC, I vote we name it Oscar or Lucy.

We'll call it Clifford III.

'Google' can still be used as a verb according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary. It should still be capitalized, however.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/google
The Purdue OWL also mentions the word's use as a capitalized verb.

I imagine they took out a Titanic exhibit as...well....the topic is rather depressing within a place like a theme park.
Yes, we'll enjoy the rides and entertainment based on fictional themes, but oh look, the real tragic death of over 1,500 people.

When they say rebuilt, they mean rebuilt. They take the trains all the way apart, do the necessary maintenance, then put them back together.

2 questions regarding that 70's photo that jandyb79 posted-
1. What was in that big bubble between the Eiffel Tower and Racer?
2. How long did they keep that canvas cover around the mini-carousels in HB land?

I wonder what that random wall by the stairs will be for...

I'd be all for digging up some of that concrete in favor of some trees and natural shading. I hated that they took out a lot of trees, even in the original section, when they made the Soak City revamp.

I'm more curious to see what it looks like inside the station, at least we have renderings for what the outside looks like.

Frankly, I come on this thread to talk about Banshee, its construction, and other updates concerning the ride. I do not like coming on this thread, expecting conversations around the ride, and getting all this stuff about capitalization.
If I were someone trying to join this site, this would be a HUGE turn off for me not to visit the site.

I talked to Ralph on media day in May of 2013 and his contact info is still available on the park's website.
-
I attended The Beach's media day earlier last year and GM Ralph Vilardo Jr. stated the park was interested in adding higher capacity slides like Mondo Monsoon in the future. When one will come isn't clear, I really doubt it'll be in 2014.

Is anyone else thinking this station might be pretty picturesque in a thunderstorm?
Photographers, take note.

I guess I'm more mad about people here acting like people shouldn't carry anything at an amusement park or that people shouldn't carry things onto rides and set them aside at the station for capacity's sake. I totally understand some of Kings Island's reasoning to their decisions.

I think I should chime in here.
I have a medical condition where I have to carry certain things around with me at all times in a back pack as well as hydrate regularly (a liter a day more than an average person). As much as the lockers are cheap, it would help me greatly if I could carry those things in line knowing I could put them aside at the station on warmer days, especially in long lines like Firehawk can get. It often is the make or break decision for me to ride those rides at all. Being forced to use a locker for Firehawk and now Banshee is a bit disconcerting to me.
I realize I'm in a minority, but there are times the lockers are an inconvinience. I don't understand why Banshee won't have the bins. What, just because its the 'new' ride and they want the greater capacity where employees do not have to check loose articles? Didn't Diamondback have its bins during its opening year? It did just fine in capacity that year didn't it? B&M inverted coasters at a lot of other parks have places to put things. What really makes Banshee so different?
Apologies if I come off a bit angry, but please, just understand there are those of us with legit reason to have things on our person. I'm willing to be corrected on anything I'm missing.

Maybe the basketball gods will smile and set up a Bearcats/UK Wildcats match up.

I'm currently at Cincinnati State, but am a member of the Bearcat Bands up at UC (there are several colleges including NKU and Thomas Moore that allow that). I will be going to UC in fall of 2014 though. It's a very long story why I've been at Cincy State.

Since Cincinnati State decided it'd be a good idea not to have a Spring Break since switching to semesters, I will be signing up to go on one of the tournament trips (either the AAC tournament or, likely, the NCAA tournament) come March and adding in one of my own. Seriously, I needed ALL of Thanksgiving Break in the fall, I don't get why C-State didn't put in a spring break (UC gets one BTW). I'll likely be doing a PTR. I have no guarentees as, obviously, a lot of people in band want to do this.
Other than that, I hope to be posting a KI trip report come mid-May or so. Gonna wait until a Friday in the middle of May so there are less crowds for my first venture on Banshee.

I have to admit, going to Water Works prior to the Boomerang Bay change made me a big fan of the Beach Boys (especially that awesome sax solo in the middle of Kokomo). I miss how simple it used to be in the path layout as well as more natural shading. I hate walking on all that hot concrete making my way out to the wave pools.

^Yeah, but they still have roughly 3 months to do all that, plenty of time.
-
I'll miss Clifford/Clifford Jr. working around and bending down for pennies. Hoping to see them again for the next construction project.
On a more serious note, I'm glad Kings Island gets construction done at a good pace. It's nice to know they have a lot of time to get everything in place and have it tested before opening day.
I wish certain parks from another chain involving flags would take note...

Well...this is kind of a kick in the teeth for me. There's no way I can do opening weekend now. I'm really busy with the family that weekend.
Oh well, at least it'll be significantly easier to ride Banshee on later weekends.

Just wait until spring when we see some more green around it.
