  1. Before it was Hanks Mexican Grill, that building used to serve sea food including cod and shrimp (like actual shrimp, not popcorn shrimp). I remember it being pretty good. I ate there a lot. This was during the last few years of the Paramount Era.
  2. Personally, I'd like to see KI get another launch coaster at some point, one that shows how far launch tech has come since the 2 coasters it currently has (I'm talking 70+ mph launch and elements getting towards 200 ft). A 3rd Premier or a S&S would be great.
  3. ^Where do you get the extra 30-40 days from? Winterfest only added a few weekends.
  4. Former Skyline employee here- the 4 in 4-way is the number of ingredients. There are 4-way beans and 4-way onions. A 5-way is both beans and onions. Realistically, the progression goes like this- 2-way- Spaghetti and either chili or cheese, the former they just refer to as chili spaghetti 3-way- Spaghetti, chili and cheese 4-way- Spaghetti, chili, cheese and either beans or onions 5-way- Spaghetti, chili, cheese, and both beans and onions For coneys- - Single wiener bun- just hot dog and bun, can also have cheese - Weiner bun- bun, 2 hot dogs, can also have cheese - Coney- Bun, hot dog, mustard, chili, onions (if you just say coney, servers will ask if you want cheese because they are 2 separate things, most customers don't know or forget that, its even listed on the menu that way) - Cheese coney- Bun, hot dog, mustard, chili, onions, cheese - Chili sandwich- Bun, mustard, chili, onions (same rule with coneys involving cheese) - Chili Cheese Sandwich- Bun, mustard, chili, onions, cheese - Coney bowl- bowl with 3 hot dogs, mustard, chili, onions, cheese Seriously though, if you want good Skyline around the park, the one by The Beach is better in every way (better quality and cheaper) and offers Skyline's full menu (wraps, chilitos, deluxes, burritos, extreme cheese, etc) , and is also one of the better run Skylines in the area to boot.
  5. Have you been around the Cincinnati area during Oktoberfest season, including the biggest one outside of Germany? That German flare is everywhere. I say go for it.
  6. I'd take the classic rock they were blasting through Coney Mall on the final day before Winterfest. Like Racer radio on steroids.
  7. I think there are rumors around that the Black Widow movie may be rated R.
  8. I consider Deadpool as part of the MCU through the power of 4th wall breaking and the fact there's a helicarrier in the first one. I always shoehorn it in after Civil War when I do a marathon for the needed much levity. I know its a stretch, but that's the point.
  9. I'm getting tired of people like you telling people to chill out about expressing opinions on what we feel are important topics. I will continue to be apart of these forums and express what I want. Its telling how riled up you are in posting such a response about this kind of topic, just sitting there pushing the moderator's buttons. It says a lot about people who get reduced to smearing to try and validate their points, which is what this topic is devolving into. I don't have to have some position of power in KIC or anything like that to know how to treat different people and situations. Its easy to tell people to 'chill out' from behind a keyboard and computer screen. That's just a way to kneecap and gaslight someone. I have my own voice and I will use it.
  10. ^The moderators here have confirmed that here many times.
  11. But we as humans must also adapt to things that may contradict the use of that technology, like Kings Island making it very clear they don't want that information divulged. Sometimes technology outpaces what we as humans need to do to get by and adapt to things. There's a lot about the internet that we still haven't had a grasp on. Seriously people, just practice a little self control. Nothing is going to happen if you aren't provided information. Just find other things to do. Its honestly more rewarding to practice patience.
  12. This whole discussion on aerial photos is just getting petty now. I don't get what's so hard about simply being patient and just waiting until April to see the new stuff. I also don't get all this alleged demand to see the I-Street stuff when you're gonna see it eventually anyway. I feel like we're just pushing the park's and the moderators' buttons at this point.
  13. I should also add that even with Firehawk's former footprint, they'll still need some more room for a decent size B&M of any type.
  14. ^Yes, but also remember that B&M uses few support beams on their giga lifts. They might be able to bridge over some of that using few supports. Also, we haven't seen what the area around AE looks like yet.
  15. To be fair, most of the land around the FoF building and Adventure Express is pretty cleared away already. If a giga were to start there, you won't be seeing the heavy duty supports until you get out by AE, thus they wouldn't need to clear much away as is.
  16. ^Creed is just pointing out the bad grammar, like in most of his posts.
  17. And as I said, there are other options to consider. You can't keep such an intense focus on only wanting to discuss adding this particular ride and expect a decent conversation. Think outside the box, do some research on other dark ride options- like, you could fit a custom indoor coaster in there as well or a better quality themed flat ride similar to what Tomb Raider was meant to be. You could also cut holes in the box and thread track through tunnels a la Disaster Transport with a custom tracked dark ride, wild mouse or a spinning coaster, or maybe something like Wonder Mountain's Guardian at Canada's Wonderland. Maybe a custom Premier Sky Rocket II or a Mack launch coaster with indoor sections and interacts with Diamondback and/or Mystic Timbers. You're limiting your ideas and the conversation by just focusing on the Madhouse concept and not acknowledging other ideas.
  18. @Cedar Fair Fanboy the problem with this conversation is that you're trying to present this ride as a kind of end-all be-all kind of ride when there are plenty of other options out there to consider.
  19. CW also had to partially dismantle Vortex to start Yukon construction.
  20. What are the actual opening years for the relocated Coney Island rides (Monster, Scrambler, RFYLCB, etc)?
  21. @pianoman will never leave I-Street.
  22. And since when does Soak City have a big wooden fence on its entire perimeter?
  23. Knott's comes to mind for me. Its a really diverse line up with some decent theming and models you don't see a lot of in the rest of the United States, probably due to their niche in the SoCal market.
