  1. Nah. I've had a couple broken lid seals from there. Best thing about Oscars? Watching Willie eat a Oreo ICe Cream Sanwhich from there.
  2. Though I'm not God, I'll make it stop....
  3. It was over at Ultimate Roller Coaster but I looked and can't seem to find it. Maybe you'll have better luck in finding it then I did.
  4. MMMMMMMM cold chicken fingers....... ::begins to drool::
  5. I can picture it but where in the heck would they be able to pull it off at? No pun intended for the recent Janet incident. I can't see them using I Street with all the obstacles that are now in the way that weren't there before.
  6. Am I the only one who notices a huge difference in the quality of Oscars LaRosas compared to inside the park LaRosas? In park LaRosas is so much better when you don't get it at Oscars.
  7. Not to be mean but if you've narrowed it down to SOB or AE does it really matter? I'm pretty sure you know what the two coasters look like?
  8. Aaron pretty much summed it up. No need to jump up and down and wet ourselves over "scheduled maintenance"...Closing
  9. I went with employees too. Derek is right, we are the sh*t. Without us, there would be nobody to "press the buttons." I use italics because a ride operator encompasses SO MUCH more then just pushing buttons. Without us, there would be nobody to ring up and serve Smurf ice cream. Without us, there would be nobody there to unlock the parking gates in the morning. I could go on, but I'm not. There's the good and the bad employees but either way if it wasn't for us, there would be no PKI. Nice topic Derrek!
  10. The site was down for some technical reason. All info which I'm not sure of and why I'm just a mod. Anywho, Dane was so nice in calling PKIU's host and letting them know whats up since Aaron is gone for the weekend and they fixed it. The site may have some more downtime until Aaron gets back so don't fret. Thanks again Dane! Edit: Wow #500 post for me. Thanks for pointing it out Stephen! BTW, thanks to everyone participating for making PKIU the awesome sight that it is.
  11. Closing because people THINK they know what they are talking about and before an employee does something stupid and goes into detail about the block structure of SOB.....
  12. Ok, back in September of 03 the BIG sign out in the parking lot blew over in a wind storm and was destroyed. So now I believe the new sign design is waiting to get the "ok" from higher ups at Paramount Parks and is awaiting a zoning variance from Mason. Edit: Yeah and what CoasterRZ said!
  13. How can you vote that you miss it though when you actually never got to experience the ride?
  14. If I'm not mistaken, KCKC opened in the parks second season, 1973. Accepting no more riders after the 2000 season, KCKC was torn down in 01 at the age of 28 to make way for TR:TR.
  15. Did they deserve it? No. Were they due for it? Yes...Cobra had run its course and so had KCKC.
  16. The Bat never crashed and killed anybody. Hell, it never crashed either. The Bat was taken out strictly for maintenance reasons.
  17. Weird More cash in my pocket though!
  18. I'm no rides mechanic but common logic would tell you keeping them out of the elements in the winter would save on wear and tear.
  19. There's old Bat footers scattered all over the place under Vortex. Also, it uses the original station as well.
