My bad!! My T is sticking on the keyboard. Maybe it's just wishful thinking but it does look like something is in there!
Maria
It was funny for I did not understand at first. I was thinking "rain" was some ride terminology that I had never heard before.

I would imagine around 200-300 riders will take part in the Charity Auction ride.
I think it will be a very sucessfull charity event!

Those are some good eyes if you can see rain in a shed from that cam.
Might want to add the T that fell off "Train" back.
We need a Zoom Cam to get a closer look!

I don't know, I've only been able to make out normal road-type cars near the station. Haven't seen anything that makes me believe the coaster cars are on the cam.
I don't see anthing either, but it looks like the snow is melting and making some interesting lines that colud resemble something new on the site.
I was looking at the web cam this morning; and it looks like there is some kind of rain in the storage shed , although it may just me needing to get my eyes checked!

Might want to edit your post and add your T that disapeared off train.

Actually, marketing years ago beat us both to it!
And it would be a truly grand thing to do again, at very little cost...except repainting a couple of times during the season. You'd be surprised how quickly those footprints wear!
I remember those!

I know a lot of people are asking for The Beast with old banking,no tunnels etc.
So here it is!
That was way cool.. Thanks!

Which rides do I miss the most? Phantom Theater and Tomb Raider. There's just something about themeing that get's me every time.
I do miss the Tomb Raider theme and it's effects of the now Crypt, but they definetly spiced up the movement of the ride in it's transition.

However, my question is whether it's for 4 specific people, or if I can pay 5 dollars less and bring along friends?
It would be for specific people when you go to pick up your pass. They will take a pic of the person that will be using the card the first time and will verify your pic on your way into the park each visit. So the first person to use the card wil be the owner of the card

It has been stated repeatedly that track work is complete, more than likely that includes any actual track work, whether related to storage or to the circuit itself!
I am guessing whether it is actual track, or another device to remove stress on the wheels as discussed, it looks like something is there. Maybe they just did not paint it red so it looks like it is not complete. This would be a good question for the people going on the tour.
Anyone get an answer to the storage track for DB who was there Saturday?

I was laughing too hard to think about it, but it didn't hurt so you're probably right. The most memorable experiences on that ride were seeing The Beast splash through a puddle at the bottom of the hill between the brake shed and the tunnel, and being splashed in the face with a curtain of water exiting the first trip through the helix tunnel. I loved every minute of it.
I hope I dont dream about ridding in the rain with the pin pricks in the face tonight. I want sunny weather for my dreams!

BTW...I'm not just talking rain shower...I'm talking POURING. It was the day that they closed early last year due to the weather and lack of crowds. I got two rides in a row even with single train operation.
I bet that almost felt better than a moderate rain and the drops feel like needles on your face while ridding. It was always nice to ride the backwards racer when it was raining to avoid the pin pricks.

Share some with me, would you? Not having any this off-season is starting to tick me off. It keeps the withdrawals to a minimum.
LOL! I know. Mine don't stop till I get on The Beast for the first time of the season.
Another dream that I had a lot before last season started was that they turned The Beast into a water ride. Same train, (it seemed) but the track was underwater and rode more like a log ride. Although a smooth ride, it was just not the same. I sort of wonder if I was dreaming about DB. I am sure DB will be a smooth ride and has the water splash at the end? Although, the ride in my dream still has a wooden structure...

I was there only once at SFKK about 5 years ago. I was not impressed. Waterpark was nice though!

Unfortunately I haven't had any dreams that are KI related this off-season. It's starting to aggravate me. I had them nightly for all of December and part of January last year.
I am so glad to know I am not the only one who dreams about KI so much. Thanks!
-
They say that if you have a falling dream, if you actually hit the ground in your dream, you'll die XD My little brother lives in constant fear of it, it's kind of funny.
I was in a conversation with a buddy of mine the other day and he actually has had dreams where he dies from falling. I have dreamed of falling and hit, but have never really "died" in the dream. My buddy lived to tell me about his, so reassure your brother it is ok.

The last dream I had was that they moved all the wooden coasters to Coney Mall. They had one big queue for all the coasters and you split to which ones you wanted to ride once you got close to their station. Seemed like a good idea, but was a big mess. The idea was terrible, for there was a 3 to 4 hour wait for your ride. Maybe I was there on July 4th weekend or something?
-
I added this on the DB form but will repost here.
I always dream that I go to ride The Beast, and it is not even the same coaster any more totally replaced, but same name. I ride it and it totaly stinks.
I usually have a dream at least once a week about KI. Usually about ridding The Beast.

I think it is interesting how much closer we will be to the track of DB than any other coaster in the park. Most everything else has a fence around it, and you dont really walk under much of the track. Getting back to FOF and FH you have those nets under the track of The Racer.
-
Looks to me to be just shadows, and/or different lighting levels. Nothing major to get concerned about.
Yeah, It does look wierd, but if you look at the shadows for the station for DB there is a long shadow extending from it as well.

If a train were not to make it up a hill(which never happnes?) What do you do? Go down and push it up??
Call a tow truck?
-
No. I keep dreaming that I park my truck, walk with huge crowds all the way up to the front gate, only to be reminded by some guy in a nice business suit that it is off-season, at which time, suddenly, all the leaves disappear from the trees and the temperature drops 60°.
That is a nightmare!

It's the off-season. Every ride at KI is missed!
That is so true. Does anyone else dream about riding the rides all winter long as I do?

I dont know but there seems to be a lot of movement around there today. What is the Plastic covering over by the last helix. Is that a Port-O-Potty or the construstion of a new Beast entrance?
