  1. Share some with me, would you? Not having any this off-season is starting to tick me off. It keeps the withdrawals to a minimum.

LOL! I know. Mine don't stop till I get on The Beast for the first time of the season.

Another dream that I had a lot before last season started was that they turned The Beast into a water ride. Same train, (it seemed) but the track was underwater and rode more like a log ride. Although a smooth ride, it was just not the same. I sort of wonder if I was dreaming about DB. I am sure DB will be a smooth ride and has the water splash at the end? Although, the ride in my dream still has a wooden structure...

  2. Unfortunately I haven't had any dreams that are KI related this off-season. It's starting to aggravate me. I had them nightly for all of December and part of January last year.

I am so glad to know I am not the only one who dreams about KI so much. Thanks!

  3. They say that if you have a falling dream, if you actually hit the ground in your dream, you'll die XD My little brother lives in constant fear of it, it's kind of funny.

I was in a conversation with a buddy of mine the other day and he actually has had dreams where he dies from falling. I have dreamed of falling and hit, but have never really "died" in the dream. My buddy lived to tell me about his, so reassure your brother it is ok.

  4. The last dream I had was that they moved all the wooden coasters to Coney Mall. They had one big queue for all the coasters and you split to which ones you wanted to ride once you got close to their station. Seemed like a good idea, but was a big mess. The idea was terrible, for there was a 3 to 4 hour wait for your ride. Maybe I was there on July 4th weekend or something?

  5. I added this on the DB form but will repost here.

I always dream that I go to ride The Beast, and it is not even the same coaster any more totally replaced, but same name. I ride it and it totaly stinks. :(

I usually have a dream at least once a week about KI. Usually about ridding The Beast.

  6. No. I keep dreaming that I park my truck, walk with huge crowds all the way up to the front gate, only to be reminded by some guy in a nice business suit that it is off-season, at which time, suddenly, all the leaves disappear from the trees and the temperature drops 60°. :(

    That is a nightmare!

  7. It has been stated repeatedly that track work is complete, more than likely that includes any actual track work, whether related to storage or to the circuit itself!

I am guessing whether it is actual track, or another device to remove stress on the wheels as discussed, it looks like something is there. Maybe they just did not paint it red so it looks like it is not complete. This would be a good question for the people going on the tour.

  8. ^That idea really does sound cool! It makes since to, you could have an Octoberfest celebration in the rides side and the Haunt on the water park side! Great idea!

I can just imagine gowing down Tazmanian Typhoon in the dark in October. That would be scary! :o

  9. The Skyride at CP scares the garbage out of me.

I just do not like the idea of swinging from what feels like a weighted bucket on a string that high in the air. I have this horrible vision of that cable snapping and everyone falling to their death. I made myself ride it last year because I don't like being afraid of things, but honestly, it makes me anxious.

I think it stems from my previous fear of Ferris wheels. I was on one of those ones where they stop it and pick a random seat to swing back and forth.. well, they picked our seat, and this was before seat belts and door locks. I slid out of my seat and almost fell out of the ride, and it scared the living ____ out of me. I'm fine on Ferris wheels now, I made myself get on the Giant Wheel at CP. It's worth a ride.

I hear you. The sky Ride at Indaina Beach still only have the pull down lap bars that do not lock! :o

They just got a fresh coat of paint last year so I am guesss they are there to stay for a while.
