  1. I have tried a few times to have a KIC event at the park. When the price comes back, I just couldn't justify charging KIC members the amount it would take just to break even for the event. Plus, getting the minimum people to pay for the event I did not think was achievable with the cost.  That was just just  for 1 ride with ERT and 1 meal for the day and no guarantee the guest speak would be there. It's  just not practical any more. I understand ACEs frustration.

Delaying the release of an events calendar until just before opening day is a missed strategic opportunity. By that point, many guests have already mapped out their 2026 travel plans around parks that announced their events months in advance. In a market where consumers are making decisions earlier than ever, waiting to communicate key dates means risking that Kings Island gets left out of the consideration set entirely. It’s not about timing. It’s about mindshare, trip planning influence, and ultimately attendance from guests who may have chosen differently if they’d had the information sooner.

You would think a company that is struggling with debt would be be using every lifeline that they could imagine to bring in more customers.

Just playing around with AI a little lol

tbh I actually kinda like how this turned out! If this actually came to reality, it would give Great Wolf some legit competition!

I bet GWL would fight that being built until the doors open to customers, but I really like the concept.

There is a 126 acre nature based theme park being built near Indianapolis, they broke ground last year, called SkyLake Adventures theme park (added Adventures part to their name on Facebook a few months ago) and they’re opening this year in phase one. It will be in Sheridan which is close to 45 minutes north of Indianapolis. It won’t be as big as Kings Island, Cedar Point or even Dorney, but it will be something to do in the area that is different than your normal theme or amusement park.

This one might actually take off, but not sure about any big rides to compete with even Indiana Beach at minimum.

As little credit the current social media team might get/deserve I do believe they can make some nice posts from time to time.

Is this in reference to the Kings Island social or the KIC social?
