  1. I just find it interesting that the offerings are generally the same at most locations with the occasional difference ala Hanks, Panda, Tom+Chee, Subway, and Skyline. But that also happens at Cedar Point. The only real difference in offerings I see at parks is through Carowinds. It's a good thing I like chicken haha.
  2. I would hope folks would be courteous enough to use the spoiler tag. Once it's public, it's hard to police and say don't share that.
  3. I would call the park to verify before attending. That's always your safest option.
  4. I wouldn't think so....I'd think they'd have a similar start but they'd be unique. Cedar Fair isn't really a pro-clone chain.
  5. I am lead to believe there are pavers around the entrance to MT. Yes...no bins.
  6. The difference between KI and CP for ERT is that CP has resort guests who are able to take part of ERT....whereas KI only has season passholders. Essentially the resort guests are paying for that hour ERT with their stays whereas KI season passholders aren't putting any additional funds into the park by coming early (no stands or anything are open....so it's a pure labor cost at that point).
  7. Weren't Dorney and Knott's versions upcharges/one swing?
  8. Wow great post! Very informative! Would love to see more photos and looking forward to more posts!
  9. Hmmm....you're really hungry for Skyline and the best one you know to go to is right by the park
  10. It should be the same picture as last year. You should be able to go to any ticket windows/guest services/season pass processing area to double check that your picture is there and ready to go for the season. I've double checked a few times.
  11. As I told you a couple days ago, I prefer the Coney location....the gluten free options are much yummier IMO but I hope that the Rivertown location is back on the plan for your sake.
  12. Just hoping there will be some sort of shade structure or something for when the summer sun is beating overhead.
  13. I won't be able to decide which is better until I've rode Mystic Timbers and Beast again.
  14. Nothing has been announced and there isn't anything on the events and promo page of the website. I don't think Kings Island is hurting for park guest numbers. If anything Holidays end up being busier than some Saturdays in the park.
  15. Nothing will ever beat hearing "A Baby Changes Everything" every day working Diamondback.....*shudders*
  16. The restraints haven't been black as of recently. Looking at photos on Google show yellow/lime green restraints....the recently uploaded video from KI it'self (below) show yellow restraints. No matter how off the colors are in the picture, the yellow of the restraints would show through as the back of the Gondola does.
  17. ^^^ Not even remotely true about the restraints. As many have said here, they are T-bar restraints. Source: http://www.incrediblecoasters.com/evilkineval2.JPG
  18. I'd agree with you on that. I love the flats that I've been on at Canada's Wonderland. Sledge Hammer is completely amazing! It's had it's operational issues but it's a lot of fun!
  19. Instead of a sky roller, I'd rather have an Air Race
  20. Don't think it's possible to do it now. I want to say I read something where the trains ended up not being able to do so. Nighthawk at Carowinds (the 1st Vekoma Flyer) has the same sort of system as we do for Firehawk.
  21. There still would be a significant delay. Just to dispatch a train takes what seems just as long as a train going through the entire course. Ultimately what helps with capacity is the ride operators and guests moving quickly. The ride loading and mechanism for lowering riders into position/sitting them up has doomed the ride from the start. The idea was for the train to recline on the lift not in the station.
