Agreed Terp. Does the park still refer to him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I disagree respectfully, let's pretend for a moment that Nick U would have stayed on. SpongeBob and Fairly Odd would have stayed. The shows you mentioned (Little Bill, Danny Phantom, etc) would Probably need to be replaced due to reaching the end of their life spans. But the shows you mentioned would probably not have things themed to them (let alone 2 of them are live action shows and not cartoons). For shows today What about Paw Patrol, TMNT, Bubble Guppies, Dora, Alvin and the Chipmunks.. And Terp You are right it is targeted to Parents but also to Kids alike. We on here wouldn't know (for the most part) what it is referring to but the kids and the parents of those kids would know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

One of the things that made the kiddie land nice growing up and even looking back at it or comparing it to say a bigger park like WDW or US is that the rides were not all themed to the same character. Growing up, you could fly a Jetsons space craft, drive a Flintstones car, Soar like Danny Phantom, or ride the carrousel with any character. Now, love the area don't get me wrong, you can go on Woodstock Express, or doing anything Snoopy or Charlie Brown related. One show versus many shows contributing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Jr and the new shorts on the Disney channel. Also he is a playable character in the Disney video games and more recent movies/tv specials. "It's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, come inside it's fun in side.m I c k e y m o u s e... Roll call..." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes it may have gone down hill but if it had been built at the time it would be 10byears later. Crazy! One of the positives and negatives of having a kid themed area to a dog that doesn't really have a current series (never saw the movie and honestly haven't seen it on sale prominently for home viewing). No current series to bring the over all value down but no current series to make kids and parents relate to it either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I loved the baby care center the last couple of years. With a toddler in tow it's nice to have a ACd place (since we don't have many trees cough cough) to sit and let him cool down. Also they had a microphone and changing tables/family rest rooms. I know recently I have become a sort of old man cranky on here about some things but the children's area and this area in particular are out of the world great. Don if you read one post from me all year the crew that have been in the baby/family center and the crews running the littlest of the rides have been outstanding. It's the reason we keep getting passes. Our little guy is too small for anything outside of the kids area. Your crew there honestly makes it one of the best days. Now back to complaining about trees, smoking areas, and trams....lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So my question as a guy who likes numbers etc. It seems that most are making up the numbers the coasters are hitting per hour since no one commenting really knows what they are getting and we only know the hypothetical number at full capacity. So why if every other ride doesn't hit their max would an RMC? So if Beast's capacity is 1200 and some one here say they can only get 1008 (weird bmnumber). Why would RMC reach its potential. Wouldn't a 960 RMC only get around 700? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah at first your body goes "Oh wow water, time to store it" Then it goes "I love this water less flush things out and wow we have lots of water stored let's get rid of this too, oh wow there's more water coming keep flushing" Then the body goes "Wow this works really nice where I get rid of toxins and stuff and can keep all my organs nice a going... Amazing!" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It takes a few weeks for your body to stabilize with water. At first your body hordes it then it starts flushing your system (that's why you pee a lot) then it balances out and everything becomes easier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As an SLP the voice is one of the things we worry about the most. Water is your best friend above all else. Water doesn't do what you think it does (coat your throat). What water does do is it allows tissues to stay plump and tender. It also allowed mucosal membranes to do their jobs which produces the coatings to keep things safe. If you don't have enough water your body pulls it's from tissues before organs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Former SFNO May Be Sold
shark6495 replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Agreed just because you can build it doesn't mean there's a need for something to be built. Look at the Walmart situation. Over built in some areas and now maybe cutting back some stores. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Depends on the restaurant haha (about line or cashier speed) And look i get not wanting to hurt the youth of America by being overly critical but criticism is a way of life. If they can't hack it at 16 and take criticism about poor work habits, hygiene, attitudes, or engagement when can we criticize them? At 18 when they are in college? 22 during their career? 30 when they have kids? If you have a job you have responsibilities. Who cares if you hate your job, but if you want nice things you work for them. And working with the public entails a certain amount of criticism. Unrelated, sort of, I had a waitress friend state she hates getting refills for people and says she's not there to fill their every need. If you are a waitress/waiter or in the food industry your job is to make other people happy with their food. Now not all kids are terrible workers but for some reason the lowest seem to present themselves mostly in the food part of the park (again not RHOFG, CFA, or Panda). Where is management? That's a good question. Thanks to this recent topic i have restructured what I want from the park. My dream list for KI: Shaded areas to relax on hot days Smoking areas no located in middle of midways (see Coney Mall, Rivertown(?)) Competent and fully staffed food and drink locations Emptied trash cans Parking lines in the parking lot Craters in parking lot filled Trams More shows/entertainment maybe a parade Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You page low rates you get low quality. I have a friend who works in another department who stated how poorly some of the employees are that he is supposed to manage. But he says he has no power to reward or punish he's just more reliable than the rest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll be honest having a little guy the new plan makes sense. He gets hungry and hot so it's cool to not have to trek to the car but... Good golly the employees are terrible. I'm sorry if one of them is on this board but the food service is straight up terrible (except reds hall of fame and chick Fil a and supposedly Panda, I never ate there yet). The kids are lazy and unmotivated. This year ill make sure to get names and complain. Last year I remember that one of the employees got off the bus and didn't even look at walked right I front of the cars and flipped off the car that almost hit her (again she walked out in front of the car). Man it makes me upset thinking about how terrible those employees are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I believe per TOS we need a link or a name, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
In total land? No there was more till there wasn't. In terms of actual ride count, maybe?(yes?). In terms of amusement park acreage? Maybe, not sure if you would count all of the land the animals took up as amusement park land. If you mean paved roads/walkways then probably yes(?) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Inside the Demise of the Record-Breaking Coaster That Went Too Far
shark6495 replied to Oldiesmann's topic in Kings Island
I really enjoyed SOB when it first opened but even then it felt that the pacing (I didn't know this word at the time) get off. The whole ride felt like it was a race to the finish. And maybe with that height there was no way to burn off speed and energy efficiently. I remember the feeling of coming out of the first helix into the straight a (brief?) tap of the brakes and then going down into the loop and back into a helix. That's the only part of the ride that felt real good. The rest felt like the train was going to fast to enjoy anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Yet Lance at Screamscape says the are going to be refurbished... Who to believe who to believe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Well the people coming from the south look like they will have a continuous right turn lane and the people coming from the north will have lane to turn left. Both are located directly next to the Great Wolf exit. And edit. Just drove back and the torn up asphalt area may actually be he grassy area next to the old entrance. Sorry! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just passed the park. There looks to be a lot of torn up asphalt in the area around the old south entrance. From the road looked to be not just a lane or two but what would look like a good sized Kroger parking lot. Also they are building a wall between the two new entrances by Great Wolf. The turn lane seems like maybe 2 lanes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
