  1. This is the reason I posted this here. I knew everybody would get a kick out of it. I thought this seemed really iffy. I thought hat if this did hone they would have taken her to first aid/ hospital. I'm not saying this is true. It is just what I heard.

  2. My brother (who is an employee at KI) came home from work today and told me that a woman's water broke while in line for Firehawk, and that she gave birth in line. He also said that 6 people fainted from watching the experience.

I don't know how accurate this is, since he doesn't work Firehawk, but did anyone else here here of or witness this?

  3. Hey guys! I was just searching around Kings Islands website, and found the "Live E-Audition" page. I'm a trombone player who love to audition this weekend, but what I was wondering was what exactly I was auditioning for. Thanks!

  4. It's a bobsleigh coaster. I forget what it was called before it was enclosed. But it was a ride built in the 70s(?) 80s :D and later was enclosed and themed to what it is now.

Off topic, but that would be Avalanche Run.

  5. Okay so, my school came to Kings Island today as a reward trip. We left at about 9:20 AM. We didn't get in the park until about 10:30 though. Once we got in, my group of 3 people went straight to The Beast. Waited about 15 minutes. (totally worth it!) While in line for The Beast, we saw a couple of camera men and from what it looked like, they were interviewing someone, while I noticed Don Helbig standing by. Travel Channel shoot? After that, we walked over to B.L.S.C, with about a 10-15 minute wait. After that we rode Dodgems, just to have fun with the little kids we are inside. After walking around some, it was about 11:30, so decided to go get some lunch. We headed to the Festhaus, which wasn't bad but could've been better (I was served cold fries). After this we headed over to The Racer with a small wait. At that time, the blue side was down. The new logos looked nice! We then want to Adventure Express. I noticed all the arms were moving! I also noticed some new scenery (Ex: a large snake wrapped around a skeleton with a spear in it in one the tunnels. After that came Boo Blasters in which I got the best score of 1110 (In my group, that is). We took a nice ride on Delirium and then on Invertigo (chipped paint all over the ground. I really think if they change the colors of the ride, they should change the sign, etc.) We went over to Flight Deck for a good ride.We walked over to Shake, Rattle, and Roll. And then to The Racer. (Blue side now open) We got on Adventure Express again. We tried one more time after that, but as we were walking on, the ride was closed due to weather. We started walking down to the front entrance to wait around a bit. And then came the rain. It wasnt horrible, just a shower. As the rain stopped, we walked over to a dry table over by Graeters, waiting for rides to open up again. As it just started to look sunny and nice, the torrential downpour came. (Which I became drenched in as I was walking to the restroom) We then left the park at about 6:00, feeling extremely satisfied with our day. Overall just a great day, thanks for reading!!

  6. Before I even joined this website, I would have read the history section of the site over and over again. I think it would be nice to go back with Paramount and just to see how different it really is now that Cedar Fair owns the park. Now on the topic of who's better? Id say they've both had their downfalls and great accomplishments. With Paramount we'd had the classics. (At least for my era, that is.) I always thought when I heard Cedar Fair was buying the park, that it would be come a bland, empty space, with no theming. I would refuse to say the new ride names. But after I've been to the park alot more, I've realized that Cedar Fair has its own type of special that I couldn't explain. I also realized that for all the younger kids of today, today will be their classic Kings Island. So who's better? They're the the same in my eyes. Paramount brought us with the more themed but yet a tad gentler rides. But Cedar Fair has brought us great, more thrilling rides. Now on the topic of Snoopy or Nickelodeon, I'm much more in favor of Snoopy than NIckelodeon. My dad was in LOVE with Snoopy when he was a kid, and he's passed that down to us. I can see very much how it would be much different for other families.

  7. Has anyone else seen Kings Islands new Facebook picture? For those of you that have not it says "New 2012! ??? -Kings Island- Keep Your Eyes on This Page to find out first!"

Edit: They've also put the link on their website.
