I think that is really yet to be seen...its gotten our attention, but we are the people who have made it a hobby (or in some cases jobs/careers) to take notice of such things. We (enthusiasts) are not the target for these adds, as most of us here get to KI multiple times a year and would do so whether the park ran 3 different commercials or 300.

Agreed! I was 21 the first time I visited Disney World and honestly feel I enjoyed it far more then I would have at 5-6.

Where does KI have space to store 60+ dinosaurs during the off season? (Not saying they don't, I'm just curious as to where.)

So I guess my question at this point would be if, as it would seem from recent statements/interviews/conference calls, CF is trying to sell the park why would they want to stall the stadium development? Kinzel stated that CF is trying to sell the park to the 49ers, though if there is no stadium built in that location that sale would seemingly not happen. If CF (and perhaps that is a bigger if then I have been assuming) is really looking to rid itself of CGA wouldn't they want the stadium deal approved as quickly as possible?

Parksmania has posted a full front seat POV of the ride. While it seems a bit short it does appear to have some amazing head/foot/side choppers. When I saw the title topic I thought for sure this was going to be another "what would you do to The Crypt?" type thread...man am I glad I was wrong! I'm prolly in the minority here but I actually don't hate the current ride cycle. If they would add a little theming and fix the door that would be great!

There, again, seems to be some discrepancy over how many units Q owns. CF is saying 10.2% while the Toledo Blade article is saying 18.1%. Does Mr. Raynor himself own units that make up the difference?

Which is why the story, IMO, should have been saved until there was more to write about. This could have just as easily been titled "Parks That Are Adding A Ride In 2012."

They both basically "the park has stated they are going to add something in 2012." I just thought perhaps someone would want a little more detail than 'major' to run it as one of the "most anticipated" of 2012. That beign said it does look like the signs right now point to Dollywood's addition being a coaster.

What editor decided that was a good story to run? The captions under the slideshow actually made me laugh, especially the Darien and Dollywood ones.

So is Q simply trying to make Kinzel & Co. look as bad as possible? With less then a year left on his contract what is the motive behind that? To gain greater influence in picking his replacement? Or does Q perhaps have a position in mind that they would like to see one Mr. Falfas fill come January of 2012?

Thanks for sharing this! It sounds like you had a good time! I have only been to Dollywood once and that was when I was like 6. I really need to get down to that area again and check out these two parks.
