  1. Knotts is fully year-round; I believe they only close on Christmas Day. During off-peak portions of the year, individual rides are briefly shut down on a rotating basis for annual maintenance, while the rest of the park remains open.
  2. Correct, same design and reorder them. Or design a cheaper, single color ink shirt. But what if we want a new design with last year's higher-quality style? Dane can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming that the quality is the same either way, and that being cheaper only has to do with a new design having fewer colors. Assuming that is correct, I would prefer a new design.
  3. I see the problem also on Windows 8 using all of these browsers: IE 10, Safari for Windows 5.1.7, Chrome 33.0.1750.146 m, and Firefox 27.0.1.
  4. Well, then that is a bug, because you should be able to embed it directly.
  5. I'm trying to add an image to my signature (namely this one), and I keep getting the error "Unable to retrieve signature image dimensions, please try another image." What's going on here? Others have added banners from this site to their signature, so why isn't it letting me? I can't "try another image", because that image is the specific one I need; I don't know of any other automatic coaster list/count signature banners out there since Coaster Fanatics died, and uploading it to another hosting site doesn't work because it won't automatically update when new coasters are added.
  6. LOL! Actually, they go to different platforms; the left elevator goes up to the 265-foot platform, while the right elevator goes up to the 275-foot platform. The left one is sometimes used instead of the right one on rainy days, so as to allow the floor of the platform above to shield people from the rain, and both are used on busy days such as Saturdays.
  7. ^ Of everything you are proposing in that image, the one designated by the green box is the most appealing.
  8. A screenshot has been posted, but here's the direct link to the tweet for those that prefer such a thing: https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/442081044196388864
  9. This is an absolutely wonderful idea! I will have to try doing this next time I have a case of the offseason blues.
  10. Right now? Probably none. They would have most likely emptied the change out of the ponds when they were drained at the end of the season.
  11. The Facebook post in question: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152607979558368&set=a.226729858367.174830.155893938367&type=1&relevant_count=1 According to that, 18+ is for "select rides".
  12. Congo Falls is a fickle machine. Usually, sitting in the front row, I just get a thick mist and don't really get what I would call "soaked" (though the bridge takes care of that ). However, on seemingly random occasions, the wave will bounce off of the bottom of the bridge and back down onto the boat, totally drenching you from head to toe. You never know when it will do that to you.
  13. It's stuck for me too. Bypassing my browser cache doesn't fix it, so either the camera itself or the script that uploads the images must be broken.
  14. For the record, I have not had any recent problems with any thread, including the Eagles thread. I have, however, encountered this problem on random, rare occasions in the past, caused by the software briefly forgetting that "index.php/ needs to be inserted in the URL between "forums/" and "topic" (this error is visible in the screenshot above). I have never reported it because the problem lasts only a couple of minutes at a time, so it fixes itself before I can get around to reporting it. It happens to me very rarely (maybe only once every two to four months), so I've mostly just ignored it and not said anything until now.
  15. Of all of my pet peeves (and there are many), "sneak peak" may be the one that annoys me the most. Who in their right mind decided that "peak" was an acceptable alternative to "peek"? I will always use "sneak peek", for that is the only PROPER spelling.[/rant]
  16. Don't underestimate the power of the Intamin! Indeed, it could very easily only work for the first five trains and then refuse to work for the rest of the day.
  17. Absolutely not. I've had enough of winter. I'm ready for Springfest.
  18. Why are we talking about Christmas trees in March in the Action Zone re-theming thread?
  19. chrome:// URIs are part of Firefox, not Chrome. (They predate Google Chrome by at least 5 years.) My head just exploded.
  20. Use Firefox instead of Chrome? More seriously, something on line 16 of chrome://global/content/editMenuOverlay.js is causing problems. I get a page not found error when I try to open that file in Chrome, so it's likely that this is a file used by one of your extensions. Click the menu button in the upper right and go to Tools > Extensions (or just paste chrome://extensions/ into your address bar), and disable extensions one at a time until the problem goes away (you may need to restart the browser after each one for the disabling to take effect). The last one disabled is the one causing the problem; the rest can be re-enabled. Check to see if there are any updates for the problem extension, as the developers may have already fixed the bug. If the problem persists after all extensions have been disabled, paste chrome://global/content/editMenuOverlay.js into your address bar, copy the first 30 to 40 lines, click the "code" button on the edit window here (the button that looks like <>), paste the code into the box provided, and hit OK and post it. Somebody here might be able to figure out what it is; often code files will contain comments at the top that identify what the file is for.
  21. That sucks. Um... I hope you did not really just say that. Because if you did, the firestorm of responses will be commencing in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6......
  22. OK, just to rule out ISP issues, could everyone seeing this issue say what ISP they have and what general area you're in? I have AT&T U-verse in the Greater Dayton area.
  23. Yet three different people were seeing it, and it consistently happens at the same time every night, and doesn't affect any other site. I call bull.
