I know they are very iritating but, it might be a good idea to introduce C.A.P.T.C.H.A. to KIC before you can become a member, this might be limited as are board software probably don't support it, but if we were to have a redirect on KIC that would have CAPTCHA before you can even access the forums it should cut down or even eliminate the problem.
For those who don't know what a CAPTCHA is:
It stands for: Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.
All they are is simply randomly generated distorted text that is requried to be typed in before you can gain access to a page or website, humans can read this text but robots can not.
EDIT: After doing some research there is a downloadable Add-On to IP.Board forums on the IP. Board/Invision Power website you can actually find it at: http://community.inv...-login-captcha/ Which would be a great idea to add to the forums as it should cut down on the spam.
Spambots can easily get around that. Now what's become popular is a simple question. You can even use both (of course, having real people answer the question.).
You right it's not completly fail safe but... what if we had a random question asked everytime you sign up at KIC, asking you some sort of park or site related question (some fact easily found of course), got the question wrong and you couldn't sign up. You can also take it another step and take pictures of rides at KI and have people signing up for KIC answer which ride it is. Since there are so many various angles a ride's photo can be taken in it would be very hard for the spam bot to guess the one, and then again got the picture wrong and you can't sign up

A way to see if a ride is down without going to that ride & line wait times on the rides at the park

I was looking around the internet and found these articles on Phantom Theater:

I loved it, only got one ride, then at night I tried again but they closed it down due to weather though. Aside from that it was great!
How does everyone like it?

"Graveyard Shift" will be the Haunt show in the Festhaus this fall.
I thought the midgets are coming back?
It says on there website: http://halfpintbrawlers.com/?page_id=61
as they did use the festhaus last year unless they are going some where else?

Which ride did you get it on?
I didn't get it on any of them they just tell you as you are looking at the picture, it was Race for your life Charlie Brown, ask next time you get off a ride.

Any ride? I know Diamondback had a sign the first year it was open about this, but I assumed it was only a one year deal.
I think so, They don't advertise it on any of them.

Did you guys know you can get on ride photos sent to your email for 3 dollars each where you can print them yourself as ofen as you would like, I just found this out, I havnt done it yet as I dont like how my photos look (I always have a stupid looking face) but this is great for people who want these photos without going bankrupt buying them.

I only got to catch part of it, but it seems as though there is a new soundtrack to the nightly Fireworks Spectacular at Kings Island.
The last three songs are:
Was (Not Was) - Everybody Walk the Dinosaur
Black Eyed Peas - Time of My Life
Miley Cyrus - Time of Our Lives
and two more I know of:
Rascal Flatts - Summer Nights
Owl City - Fireflies

I took this today I have flash on my phone:

That's a great pic. I'd bet many people who ride The Beast have no clue that the trough that's filled with trash and silly bandz used to actually have water in it.
It would be nice if they created a mini-pond there and fill the trough with water it would be a neat effect.

I have to say though, it is better then an old man dancing to obnoxious music in front of a bus...
Ohhh... I just HAD to!
This SF commercial HILARIOUS!

Do you happen to know where Party on the Plaza is? I haven't been able to find that anywhere.
My best educated guess is on or near the Bandstand but that is not confirmed.
According to KI's Website it is indeed at the I-Street Bandstand.

I recieved an e-mail from KI @ 5:38pm that mentions WS as new for 2011.
There is nothing hinting it would not be available Saturday.
New attractions for 2011 include WindSeeker, a 301-foot tall swing ride, and the world's largest animatronic dinosaur park,Dinosaurs Alive! at Kings Island, which debuts May 26.How come that blog post says in bold:
" Early rides for 2011 Gold and Platinum season passholders begin at 9:00pm."

Could it be a issue with people using the new IE9 that just had it's final release within the last few months

As a season pass holder and buyer of 4 passes, I was very frustrated at the 5 dollar charge, we will probably do it one time, and that will do it, When your multiplying by 4, the costs add up, I was also disappointed that the announcement wasn't a new mega coaster rivaling The dragster. wasn't even the Son of Beast. So it was a let down, As an adult , I really am not to pumped up for This attraction. and my 13 and 16 year old could care less, they wanted a dragster. I love Kings Island, but Cedar Point is better, Just the facts as i see it. Don't the pre teen Kids have enough at Kings Island already , with the award winning kids area, and the swimming area. Come on, bring on the Coasters.
I agree not even the Pre-teen kids are going to like this, think more along the lines of 2ish-9ish year olds

Has anyone thought of another river rafting ride, if that red silly band thing was a river rafting ride it would be the biggest of it's kind like Don said...

Tour of maintenance roads? Well here you see some asphalt, over here are some guard rails... and finally our vast collection of potholes.
