Does the park have a sign that states the dress code?
-
I went to Carowinds around late June last year and the park wasn't very crowded. The longest I waited was 30 minutes for the Carolina Cobra and Nighthawk's line was only 20 minutes. So if anything I'd hit those rides as quick as you can. Then I'd check out Afterburn, which usually gets crowded towards the middle of the day. And most people eat lunch around 12:00-3:00, so that would be a very good time to hit up the rides with longer waits.

A family coaster wouldn't be too bad. As much as I'd love to see something new in the Bay, I don't know.......

Carowinds Trip-July 23rd

Make sure you ride Night Hawk too, it's my favorite Vekoma Flying Coaster. Knowing there's only two other Vekoma Flying Dutchman's in the U.S -
I've rode the one at Cedar Point once. It was more of a time waster for me, as I only had 30 minutes until I was leaving.

Woodstock Express, it makes my tummy feel weird.
-
Last year I named it the Stone Crusher.
-
I rode it after they took out the loop and I found it nearly impossible to enjoy.
-
I just wish they could run a longer circuit. Back in 06' it was one of my favorite rides.
-
Yes, I did hear it. It's between 0:08 and 0:09.

I'll be at Coney instead.
-
Maybe it was just the launch. I could have sworn I heard it though......

I was obviously kidding but what ever. I did go to the park yesterday and I must say Flight of Fear's que looks really nice and for the first time, I heard the crashing sound on the launch. I didn't make it back to Flight Deck, so I wasn't able to see what it looked like back there, but I did go through Crypt and it looks pretty cool. I noticed the cool water effect on the wall behind the weird creatures, it's a really nice touch. I also like the audio they added to the ride ques.

Kings Island has theming?

Those are really nice pictures!

Does anyone know if it is running today?

If a photographer is running at you while you are running, plow them over. Then they won't do it again.

So a couple days ago me and a friend were about to get on Down Under Thunder in Boomerang Bay. There was an Older Indian and his family in front of us. They all got on the slides and went down once they were cleared. But the older guy still sat there. Finally once we started getting in the slides he left. But he was going really slow. If I remember he was on slide 3, I was on 2, one of my friend was getting on 3. Then there were two other guys on 1 and 4. So he waited about a minute and the man still hadn't come out of the slide. So I got out of the slide and walked over to the edge to see what was going on. The man was stuck. He was about 5 foot 6 and maybe weighed 170 pounds. He started to push himself and finally started to move. I was laughing my head off and kept watching him. He picked up some speed and started going through the rest of the slide, so I went back and set down in the "boarding" area of the 2nd slide. We waited a couple more minutes and finally the guy exited the slide. But it gets better. He started to walk towards the stairs, but he fell. So he starts swimming around the 3 foot clearance pool. The life guard asked him to leave the pool, so he finally got out and we started cheering. So he looks up smiles and then waves. It might not be as funny to you guys as it was to us, but if you were there, I know you would have gotten a chuckle out of it.

Yeah, I mean when someone sees you decline one, then they should know you don't want one. And my favorite ride is Flight of Fear, not Diamondback

I wish they wouldn't try to take your photo when you're heading for ERT. A couple weeks ago I arrived at the park around 9:45 so I rushed to the Gold Pass entrance. But I was held up by not just one photographer but two! I mean did the second person not see that I declined the first one? In fact I know she did because she was looking right at me! I'm getting tired of this, I try to be as nice as I can, but apparently that doesn't work. And then to make it worse Diamondback was in the transition of adding a train. So I didn't even get any ERT in.

When we were getting of the Red Racers, "Please exit to the right and enjoy the rest of your day at Sea World!"

If I remember it's by the old fountain near Graters.
-
Maybe he should have done it on the Rattler at Six Flags Over Texas, then his hand would have probably been cut off.

For some reason I thought it was 121 degrees, but whatever. The steeper, the better.
