My top 5 has to be 1. Thunderhead just awesome 2. Beast longest Wooden roller coaster in the world and awesome night rides 3. Racer just a classic 4. Mean Streak I haven't been to many parks so this basically has to be put in there 5. Big dipper (Camden Park) my first coaster and from my home park gotta give Camden a shout out

I once was that guy on The Beast Yelling that my grandma could go up the hill faster. I had the whole train in tears It was quite funny actually. When we hit the second hill I said this was a blistering pace in 1979. I'm sure a lot of you hate that person on rides but that was the only time I had done it and haven't since but it was quite funny.

Speaking of mantis I'm going later this summer and was wondering if it's hard on your knees?

That too lol. I just think with the rocks on top and on the side it just looks like a mine to me

I mean in the queue there are a lot of miner references and in the station there are also. And when you go down the big hill it goes into what looks somewhat like a mine

Actually the arrow looper has a mine theme terp and this topic so far has been coasters all though blazing fury has a different theme and are you really bringing up the kiddie coaster c'mon terp

I like theming on rides but not when it's overdone, take dollywood granted its a theme park but every ride is themed to the same thing. The rides that aren't Thunderhead and Wild Eagle are the best rides in the park. But that's just my opinion. I think if the ride is good it doesn't need a theme. Like Diamondback and Vortex

This is my first trip report so bare with me hopefully this will be good. Day 1 We arrived at the park around 3:15 so we can come back free the next day. We then headed for Tennessee tornado, but stopped at blazing fury because the line was very short. I thought BF was okay it's definatly family based like most rides in the park but it's still a fun experience. Then we hit up Tennessee tornado its overall a fun ride but a bit too short for my taste. I do like how they have the video of your reactions during the ride that's just a cool little feature. The ride op on TT was awesome just a funny guy. We then went to mystery mine. We basically walked on I love this ride it is awesome. I love the straight up and down lifts and drops just a cool thing you don't see that often. The effects on the ride are awesome I recommend riding MM its just a fun time. Then we hit up Thunderhead which is now one of my favorite wood coasters now right behind The Beast. Again we basically walked on. We rode front seat and it's just a awesome ride in general. Then it was time for wild eagle. I was shocked as we walked on the ride, the park was dead. Wild eagle is just a awesome ride. I can't wait to see what Cedar Fair will come up with for Cedar Point, if the rumors are true. Then we went on the dollywood express and left as the park closes at 7. Day 2 We arrived at 12 as had we overslept. The lines for everything were over a half hour, not that bad but not exactly short. We headed for thunderhead it had a huge line. So we went and rode mystery mine again it was a 45 minute wait. Then we went and rode thunderhead the line was much shorter. As we pretty much walked on it. Then we went for daredevil falls as it was very hot outside. It's a fun ride but doesn't really get you all that wet. Then we rode WE again and left because my friend had gotten sick. overall I had a great time at the park, and I hope you find this TR useful and that you enjoyed reading it. Not gonna lie that would be pretty darn fun though but I dont think its possible or is it im gonna feel real dumb here in a couple of posts

Vortex's chain could have been replaced before opening day this year, and a replacement chain was put on order and it simply has not come in yet. That is just one of many could haves in a long list of possibilities. Sometimes $^#t happens and it does not mean CF is cheap cheap or don't stock spare parts. CF does not have a long history of having rides down for typical wear & tear part failure. Now suddenly they are being cheap? On a side note- it is rather humorous that many people questioned why Vortex being part of ERT and how it was not that popular, and now people are questioning why Vortex is down due to a broken chain and it has now made the print media. not trying to nit pick but is there a difference between cheap cheap and regular cheap sorry i had to OT: If it's just a link I dont understand but the whole chain i can as S&S probably does not mass produce replacement arrow parts and only makes them when needed just a guess

I wouldnt mind that BB needs some love too but as a 40th birthday present I dont find it adequate but new rides do cost a ton of money

That's reasonable. Now, if she was in line for The Beast and had said that, well, she needs to read up some more on the Internet. or just look at any of the signs around the park -__-

personally as a casual rider no-matter What they do to i wont ride it and i know many people like that

Day started at 10:30 when we arrived this was my first visit to the park since DB opened so we ran to it only a 20 minute wait if that there were 5 of us so guess who got to ride by himself with a random chick great ride so after that we hit The Beast and heard the words record-Breaking at least 100 time bery short wait also still great then we hit Vortex then to Firehawk 45 minute wait terrible capacity i didnt ride but my friends did we then hit racers blue won as usual and had the most annoying kid behind us screaming a unwanted illeagal intercourse at the top of every hill then we ate at the shrimp place that was bubba gumps not sure what the names is now then we hit Drop Tower, top gun and then the water rides in hindsight terrible idea marathoned congo falls 6 times only 93 short of the record then white water canyon then changed clothes and waited for friends to get off delireum then viking Fury best ride-op ever shouts out to david that spaghetti and meatballs dinner offer is still on the table then we decided to do the WindSeeker again i didnt ride 15 minute wait my friend told me it was a kiddie ride 301' in the air then hit a beast night ride Backlot Stunt Coaster and ended the day on Invertigo hope you enjoyed my TR
