  1. That's a good question, Goble. I have been trying to look for the last 2 songs (Hand2Hand/original DuoFannick (trapeze) ending*) for the past hour now and no luck! *I don't know if the finale music has changed; has it?
  2. @Jtro223: Well, hawks could eat beetles...
  3. Good to know. I like that song
  4. I don't mind the spieling at KI; I've heard some good ones. However, Hershey's autospiels were pretty good; Thighcrush (aka SkyRush , Great Bear and Storm Runner's autospiels come to mind.
  5. TombRaiderFTW, I could not agree more; I miss Yannick too. He was my favorite cast member and Orgins won't be the same without him. However, I have been encouraged to see the new acts, so I may see the show again when I get a chance. Also, I'm guessing the same music is used for the ring act as was used for Hand2Hand; can someone confirm?
  6. I've only been to Coney a few times when I was a kid to ride Python, but it would be really cool for them to put in another coaster. Another reason to go to Coney would that they have a unique collection of flat rides.
  7. That would be the Kings Island Theater at 3, 5, and 7, with an additional showing at 1:30 on Saturdays and no showings on one of the weekdays. TRFTW, always willing to help. Cirque: Origins is off Tuesdays. Also, I believe their Saturday shows are at 1:30/3:30/5/7. Even though one of my favorite acts and my favorite cast member has left the show, I've heard great things about the new acts. -MDMC, being helpful as well
  8. So, now that it's likely our new coaster will be wooden, anyone on here know where that awesome bright green B&M track is going?* Also, this is my 2000th post (que airhorns! ) *If the location has already been previously been disclosed on this thread, I apologize; I haven't kept up as much with the Decoding 2017 thread as I have in the past*
  9. I know... I found out yesterday Well, at least I got my picture with them.
  10. Hand2Hand will be gone too? That was one of my favorite parts (well, except for Yannick (I think that's his name?)- the tattooed/bearded "gnome"- he's awesome!) Um, well, the question is now, what acts, or who will be kept?
  11. I saw all three performances today and I really think this cast has hit their stride. The new slack line guy is amazing and the show seems to be getting better and better. Also, the drummer wasn't there today, but with the exception of and the finale, I didn't really feel his absence. What I'm trying to say is that the drumming adds something to the show, but when taken away, it doesn't totally take away from the show either.
  12. Yeah, I'd be one of those guys who'd skip out on Kong because of the scareactors. Also, I can see this being detrimental not just to kids on the fence about riding Kong, but what if someone is super excited to ride, and then a scareactor pops out and the guest has some type of medical emergency (because their adrenaline is that much more fired up)? EDIT: I can see what Universal is going for atmosphere-wise, but still...
  13. Correct, RFYLCB had another name (Kings Mills Run?) before becoming Wild Thornberries River Adventure in 2001. It became RFYLCB in 2010. EDIT: Also, I'm starting to lean towards #TeamGiga if that lime green track is heading our way (I really hope it is!). However, I'd welcome an RMC or Lightning Racer-esque (at least in terms of smoothness) GCI.
  14. I heard about the CP power outage last night, but that picture is crazy! Glad everyone's OK and there were no injuries ... On a lighter note, at first glance, Chugh's picture of that fence in the former STR area looked like a paved parking lot (I didn't even notice the fence until I saw it in another picture and went back up to look)
  15. Now that you mention it, I do sort of see that.... Good thoughts!
  16. I had the opposite problem while getting to the Soak City lot on Sunday. I was heading towards the south exit, but hesitated to go further as I thought I'd end up accidentally exiting the lot. Thankfully, security showed me the correct way to Soak City and confirmed I was on the right path (I was the only person heading to Soak City at the time).
  17. And just last month (May 7th, to be exact), Invertigo valleyed in the station and was down earlier that day for some reason
  18. I've never been there, but to me, Valleyfair's coaster collection seems like an amalgam of the smaller Cedar Fair parks. You've got Wild Thing, Steel Venom and High Roller in common with Dorney (Steel Force, Possessed and Thunderhawk), and Mad Mouse and Corkscrew in common with Michigan's Adventure (same names). And then there's Excalibur, whose track structure looks similar to Gemini at Cedar Point and there is a Cosmic Coaster at Worlds of Fun. There's also Renegade and Prowler (Worlds of Fun), but Renegade came first. Not saying it's a good or bad thing (I'd like to ride Steel Venom someday), just something I've noticed just by looking at RCDB. -MDMC, making comparisons; feel free to carry on with the decoding
  19. Regarding the song query, could it be "Stand up" by Jessie J?
  20. Splintercat is an interesting theme and name... now I keep thinking of spiderpig... "Splintercat, splintercat, does whatever a splintercat does RMC or a giga Let's wait and see, what splintercat becomes" In all seriousness, Splintrcat (without the "E") does sound cool.
  21. When I rode TP yesterday morning, the lines generally looked long but weren't too bad. As for "non-normal" wait times, consider the fact that some people "chicken out" at the top; this could be a factor in increasing wait times.
  22. Personally, I like both KI and CP. Cedar Point does have more of a destination park/"you've arrived" vibe, especially with Gatekeeper/the new front gate and Luminosity; Kings Island is familiar as it's been my home park for a number of years. Ridewise, Magnum > Diamondback, Banshee > Raptor, Adventure Express > CCMR and Beast > Mean Streak.
  23. I think what is being referred to is there was a slide that was part of a Coasterstock slide show that showed major additions on a timeline. On this timeline were Banshee and other major attractions and there was a spot on the timeline that just said 2017. I think that that's what's being referred to, however, I was not at the event but I believe a picture was posted on here showing this exact slide. Someone else may be able to explain this better, though... EDIT: I just realized why it's called Coasterstock... Coasters + Woodstock!!! -MDMC, who in high school put together that the naming of Mountain Dew was referring to Dew on a Mountain!
  24. I for one, would welcome an Impulse coaster at KI! More on topic, I did see clearings/markings from WWC's new pathway.
  25. I saw Origins for the first time today (well, actually twice, but my first was the 5 PM showing) and it was different from Cirque Imagine, but in a good way. Finally, I also enjoyed the music and it was cool that
