  1. Hmm... That's kinda bad, though. I know I somehow got the "full" TR:TR soundtrack (minus the queue--starting with the preshow rolling door open) from a link on this site... And then there's Hank's posted link in "If you Could Change a Ride..." from KIE that has the Express, Flight of Fear, etc soundtracks on it. Did KIE get the permission from Rob Pottorf?

  2. I emailed Rob about the soundtrack for Tomb Raider and Flight of Fear soundtracks. He emailed me back saying something to the effect of "These soundtracks were asked to not be disclosed to anyone, as they are under copyright protection!" I would assume it's the same with the video.

  3. I always start out my day in Action Zone. Always. So I generally go to Invertigo, then Drop Tower, Flight Deck, Delirium, Adventure Express, etc, working my way clockwise around the park. If you want to get on Firehawk quick, try for one of the first few rides. I've only gone at rope drop once (went on Adventure Express in the front row, first train of the day, only one other person on there!), so I'm not too much of an expert of what to ride at rope drop.

  4. Technically, it was also made for an older audience, too! ;)

All's cool, Voicetek. You should really ride Woodstock in the front with your son or daughter (if you're old enough to have had a kid or two!), the feeling is amazing to see the joy on a childs face mixed in with a great ride.

EDIT- Just saw Voicetek's most recent post--you should try to remember to ride Woodstock Express next visit. You might be surprised with how fun it is!

  5. So no, I'm happy with the 2 wooden coasters we have now and don't really need a third.

    Then what's Woodstock Express?

Sorry, I was unaware that you ride kiddy coasters. When I said 2 coasters, I was referring to The Racer and The Beast, I wasn't including the wooden coaster in kiddy land.

Oh, really? Woodstock Express is just as much of a roller coaster as The Racer or Son of Beast is. Woodstock Express/The Beastie/Scooby Doo packs quite a punch for what it is. I had my friend ride it (he'd never been on it before) and he said that the drops were relatively fast for what it is. And he loved it. Woodstock Express and The Racer were the flagship attractions when the park opened. You shouldn't call anyone a baby for loving rides you think are lame, because we're allowed to have different opinions.

  6. I think that FUN tried their hardest to make sure that the exit of Vortex, the entrance and exit of WindSeeker, and the entrance/exit of the Dino Movie would not be too congested. I don't go to the park on crowded days like Saturdays anymore (too crowded for my taste-when Flight Deck has a line, you know it's bad!), so I don't know how this is on those days, but it doesn't seem so bad on the weekdays. Also take in to account that not many people are interested in the movie, so not many people head back there, leaving the walkway almost dead.

  7. Why does there need to be a sponsor? The quotable Sammy K in my signature is sponsored by companies such as Remo, Yamaha, Zildjian, etc, and he gets free stuff from those sponsors. So did Pepsi pay for part of the construction, operating costs, or just pure advertisments?

  8. I think your making it a bigger deal than what it is, it doesnt take a genius to know this without asking.CP is getting a new coaster,KI got one in 09,its gonna be a while till the next one at ki. I asked just to see what they would say,and i got what i figured.

None of this makes any sense. Cedar Point getting a new ride has nothing to do with Kings Island. Canada's Wonderland got a 25+ million dollar hyper in 2008, and this year they got a new gigacoaster that came with a price tag near 30 million dollars.

Like Gordon Bombay said, no 'suits' have talked to you.

Actually, the addition not quite South is consuming a large chunk of capitol, leaving not so much dinero por us. You see der point?

If you don't see the point, take this example: You have an outdated house, and there's a mighty list of things that need to be done (or want to be done, more accurately). Such things are replacing floors, painting walls, air ducts cleaned, and new appliances and counter tops in the kitchen. You knock off the appliances and counter tops in the kitchen off your list, but you don't have enough money to complete the floors, walls, and air ducts. You have to build up your capitol to make another purchase later. Get it?

  9. ^Ahhh, but what if you're athiest!

And if you don't want your "assets" to be hurt, do what I mentioned:

I'm a guy, but I LOVED Banshee Mantis! The trick with them is you stand shorter than they are, then stand up to full height after the restraints have locked in. Works like a charm!
