What happened with Diamondback shouldn't really count- that was erosion on concrete footings poured by a seperate company (Modern Day Concrete Construction). http://www.kiDiamondback.com/public/ride/statistics.cfm B & M was used as a model for a good company that doesn't have many flaws.

I would actually not like to have those aliens/monsters/whatever in our Flight of Fear. 1. It gives us a (minor) distinction. 2. It just doesn't seem fitting how an alien is trapped inside their own ship...? But other than that, you took some great photos, glad you had a good time in Europe! P.S. RCCA should have been more careful when constructing your beloved Son of Beast. And when was the last time a B & M had a problem where an entire ride was shut down, redesigned, etc?

Technically, some things have come before 2015. 2009-Diamondback 2010-Penn Station (just kidding, Planet Snoopy) 2011-WindSeeker and Dinosaurs Alive! 2012-Complete rebranding of the waterpark and a new wavepool. I think we'll get something during the next 3 years!

So it would have been safe to assume that Intimidator 305 wouldn't have had any problems, because it seems Intamin would have been more careful?

Intimidator 305-The first 1/3 of the ride had to be redesigned due to extreme forces not forseen in the ride's design to accommodate trim brakes. Intamin Giga Coaster? Yes. There are only 4 rides that go upside down at Kings Island, I think that's what he means by "thrill". I wonder what the GP would think if they ever realized that!

Bad timing. If the motor has been in operation since 30 years ago, it seems like the motor would need to be replaced soon anyways.But what do I know about wave pool motors? I don't know anything about wave pool motors or how durable they are. Anyone wanna shed some light? Edit- Happy 100th!

^Son of Beast's plot itself is ample space for 2-3 coasters in itself.

^If you go early on in the season and a Friday, the lines will most certainly be *very* short. I did this last season, and almost every single house was a walk on-15 minute wait at most.

If the Flying Scooters Eagles weren't taken out, something else (probably in Coney) probably would have been removed and transported to the flagship. Don't you guys love Shake Rattle and Roll, the Scrambler, or the Monster? Adding on, why could Kings Mills Log Flume be saved, yet not Eagles? Believe me, I want the Eagles back too. I even had fantasies when I was younger that they were being kept in storage on Kings Island property, that the park didn't have enough money to operate them (or something like that). Do I want them back? Heck yeah. Are we gonna get them back? Most likely, no.
