Oh, brand new supports were put in? Do tell. It's sad that there are people who think this way, having what they think of a funny and great experience at the expense of everyone else's. Other than that incident, glad you had a good trip.
-
^That's really punny. I would like it, but I'm out of "positive likes" for the day. I dunno why we need positive in there, we don't have negative likes.
-
The only way I can think of where you can be told "certain things by certain people" is A) You are secretly Matthew Ouimet. B.) You are very high up in the Cedar Fair command chain. C) You work for someone like Rocky Mountain Construction or GCI and are doing a major overhaul soon. or D) You are a magic yookneekorn. (I vote for D)

Well, according to KI-ORIG-EMP, any sort of diversion is completely unheard of, and not allowed whatsoever. I think it's odd that Don would release something to mccarthysnerd, yet not give the same answer to someone else.
-
Hey. I was seeing whether or not mccarthysnerd's claim was valid. Invalid or valid, nobody really seems to know. Guesses.
-
^That's a major improvement. I forgot to give this person recognition- Thanks goes to Jdawg1998 for helping me figure out to post a picture!

I know something else you can do for the internet community. Stop posting. I'm out of likes. But you, sir, would have another.

I probably speak for most people on here (including the TOS), but please edit your post and add more periods. I think a post such as that needs more than 1 period. But other than that, sounds like you had a great time! I hadn't ridden Blazing Fury in awhile (my first visit to Dollywood in over 8 years--went 2 days before New Years this past year), and the drops really surprised me. Edit--Oh wow! Ton of people replied before me about the grammar fix!

I just need to get this out--Maybe the reason Kings Dominion's Crypt has the monkey warriors is because they are replicas, not originals? Kings Island's were almost all originals, with a few specially cast for the ride using moldings. ~~~~~~~~~~ Perhaps the GM at Dominion doesn't value theming. Seeing as how parks are not micro-managed by the head in Sandusky anymore, yet rather by the GM, he/she must have something to do with the upkeep. Did you go to Guest Relations at the end of it? I can't wait for the pictures. Sad to hear Kings Dominion was a bust, hope Europe was much better!

Carnevil takes place during Haunt, in the place of the former Enchanted Theater.
-
At first, I thought standbyme actually wore that Darth Vader mask while on the ride! Remember Standbyme, this PTR is wonderful and greatly appreciated. It sounds like you had a great time, can't wait to read and see how the rest of your day went!

^^Carnevil, a Halloween Haunt attraction themed to a demented or evil carnival. I think what Oldiesmann meant by side track is the transfer track that the ride uses. This is a piece of track that (almost) all roller coasters have (Omit Invertigo, Firehawk, Great Pumpkin Coaster, etc). This allows for each train to be put away, off the main circuit of the track when the need arises. Rides like Vortex, The Racer, The Beast, Diamondback, etc all have these. On rides like Flight Deck and Vortex, it's the second piece of track you see next to you as you are sitting on the final brakes.

I sent the question today, got the answer today. Question 3:07 pm, answer around 5:17 pm. Turns out it was 200 miles, either way... http://themeparkrevi...8407&start=4620 Because Theme Park Review is a reliable source.

In line for Backlot Stunt Coaster last Thursday, I overheard this: "Did you ride The Beastie?" "Yea." "Did you ride the Son of The Beast?" " "

^Seems there's a bit of dead links in your post...
-
Considering that there have been reports that Ouimet has talked to guests about Son of Beast (somewhat), and add that with the fact that mccarthysnerd doesn't seem to be the one trying to mess with us, only to get a reaction, this doesn't seem that much of a hoax to me (but it still has an odor scented to hoax). Email the park to see if he's right (that's what I'm about to do).

Nooooo! I was gonna say that! The Flying Dutchman's queue is used for Adventure Express.
-
^Is that why Disney had the proposed Avatar? (how is that project coming along?)
-
^I think Cobra wants to know how they execute differently, rather than a vague post.

I guess some lack in decency. Whenever I see an incoming stroller, I always make sure to stop, 'cause I know what that's like. The flume physically breaks? That sounds painful... But because this flume operates on the chain and anti-rollback principle, you have to watch out for the chain dogs and the likes, and that will make for a terrible scratch. In my opinion, I think it's easier to just get hit with an oncoming train, than risk being caught underwater and scratched, possibly death.
-
Maybe it only does this on the Hollywood version (I always thought that the Hollywood one was the Orlando version), but it does have the capability to stop (or at least slow down considerably almost to a stopping point). I'm not going to embed the POV (against TOS), but if you search "Jurassic Park River Adventure Hollywood" on Youtube, then look for the video by "deathbyillusion", skip to the end to see it. Also, check my original post again EDIT: And I'm pretty sure Tanganyika Tidal Wave at Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa) has something to make it slow down. I remember that when I went there, the splashdown and turn to the station were pretty close together.

Chili. No thank you!
