No it doesn't. I think B&M's just get rough over time, pretty quickly due to the expanding and despanding of the track, and plus the rails being used about a Million times a year.

I think Apollo's Chariot, Griffon, Montu, Raptor, Wildfire, and Dominator are all smoother than Diamondback. These coasters are also a lot older than Diamondback. The problem with Diamondback, I think, is with how the park maintains it.

I think the two rattling areas on Diamondback are the only topics YoungStud and I actually agreed on.

I'll admit I've made my jabs at BB1, but I don't think you speak for the community. While I find the majority of BB1's posts to be ambiguous, I still think that he adds some meaningful discussion to the community. To say that "not many people here like him" is not the right thing to say; I think you could have handled the situation better.

^Portions of the parking lot have actually been receiving attention over the offseason. I think preferred, employee and handicapped lots have been repaved, and probably some patch work in the other sections as well.

I think the biggest issue with this new show is the added anticippointment factor. Many people here were getting hyped up for a huge reveal of the Action Zone circle, but then they were let down by the news.

Once I saw a KIC member, and I asked her if she knew BB1. She of course replied yes, which I began to go on how amazing he(I) was, later on, I told her that I was his friend and he was around here somewhere(Which I was, technically). Funny thing is, she believed it!

Who ever you are, you met the supreme BB1, who can be so elusive that you won't know he is right next to you! (Which has happened to many)

I think Kings Island definitely needs to add some more "relaxing" rides...this would be one I wish they would have never removed, along with the antique cars and KCKC.

^THIS. I love Shake, Rattle & Roll, Scrambler, Monster, and Zephyr, but the park definitely needs more rides like these.

I miss the Flying Eagles just as much as anyone, but I'm actually really impressed that the former GM was respected enough that he got to pick up our ride and bring it down to Carowinds with him. It sounds so cool to have that much power!

But actually though, getting ours back and replacing them with another set at Carowinds is highly improbable. CF would probably give us a modern interpretation of the Flying Eagles rather than our original set. I really want the originals return, though!

The still doesn't stop having to walk through a cloud of smoke on the path from The Beast to Vortex.

I don't know the last time you've been to the park, APE, but that smoking section has been moved off of the path next to the restrooms. That move has helped so much.

Where else could they have put the smoking area? There's not a ton of room anywhere else in that part of Coney Mall, whereas there are already two smoking areas near the center of Action Zone already. I think AZ is good with the number of smoking areas it currently has.

As for KIC, most everything here is said in jest. If there's ever a question about a post's mood, you can always ask or just dismiss it as sarcasm. Sarcasm is very hard to pick up on a forum board anyways, so I can understand how messages can be misconstrued.

As I understand it, maintenance of special fx is up to the park's discretion. I don't think Ouimet would make a huge difference if maintenance doesn't care.
