  1. K, so I've seen the word "don't" capitalized in places where it shouldn't be. Methinks it's a minor issue with the new filter Dane put in this afternoon. This isn't a huge problem, but I couldn't find any better place to put my question. Thanks!

  2. Well not dirt as in, hey grab some soil and throw it. But all of it hitting and being exposed over time, it becomes embedded or leaves marks..

But yes, you'd be amazed the crap you see left on coasters..

But in the exact same spot for the entire season? No effort to clean it off? The same patterns on most seats?

Not trying to say that the Illuminati has some role in this, but it doesn't necessarily sound like it happened by accident.

  3. Regarding the Diamondback seats:

I don't think it's any sort of dirt because the marks are never washed off, even when the trains are hosed down after a protein spill or just daily routine maintenance. It is also just too coincidental to find the marks in the same place on every seat to believe it's dirt.

  4. There's absolutely no reason to remove all those trees at the front of the park for a coaster that could easily go behind Banshee, Adventure Express, or Firehawk.

Also, lines do not indicate popularity. Flight Deck almost never had a line, but that doesn't mean it was unpopular.

  5. Stashua: I would think it's pretty silly to put the plaza in the middle of the midway when the ride's entrance is so far away.

TB: I could understand where you're going with it, and I wouldn't necessarily be mad with this idea, but I feel like the lockers would be best placed by the entrance of Banshee since the lockers are intended for the ride.

  6. I'm not sure. If I were to guess, I would say these track pieces are coated in better paint/better protecting agents than most other rides specifically for these elements. Adventure Express' track got so bad that the track actually had to be replaced (IIRC) in 1999. Backlot's track is also a testament to the effects of rain and water.

  7. I think one of the reasons for that is that you have to understand that the panelists who vote in GTA's rankings told to rate their coasters based on overall experience (which greatly includes reliability) rather than just the riding experience alone.

So reliabity is why Millennium Force continues to win the Golden Ticket Awards?

I learn the darnest things here.
