I really doubt we'll see much in the way of humongo things this offseason. I think Son of Beast is our gift for this upcoming season.

Speaking of the devil, why is it in some respects that Adventure Express looked both better yet worse in that POV than it is today?
- The 3 tunnel speaks for itself. 1 light?!
- 4 tunnel has many more lights.
- 1 tunnel has lights.
- No trim brake!
- Looks amazingly smooth.
- No overgrowth in the ruins (something I like yet don't).
- No towery woodeny thing.

Another thing that would be welcome is a total rehab (for the 2nd time in its life) of Adventure Express' theme and a demo of the FUN box.

Are you sure Delirium's cycle has been shortened? I'm sure we would have heard about it by now. Maybe it's just temporary? The ride has only had 2 swings where it gets up to full height, then it ends (versus maXair's...7?). It could have felt shorter when in fact it might be the same. I'll check it out on KIC Day.
I too hate second-hand smoke. Sorry it put a damper on your day.

one of which was Adventure Express, which I must say- I think is the best "themed" ride there now. Playing the Raiders of the Lost Ark theme in the line was a nice touch... didn't know they could do that.
You sir deserve a cookie. Yes I can agree that AE would have to be the most themed, I can only wonder why CF doesnt like theming...
Also is it just me or may the Flight Deck may be up there with AE, with all the aeroplanes props and flight carrier props, it can be considered to be the 2nd or better yet the first soon if AE keeps on with the dilapidation..
Um... 2 things: 1. Adventure Express is looking better and better each time I go. What puzzles me is the fact that the 1st tunnel is dark (for now) and some lights in the 4 tunnel are out (pre-tiki men, tiki-men, and post-tiki men). 2. If Flight Deck is the 2nd best themed ride in the park, I guess Flight of Fear is somehow #3?

You know what I would do? Not put an alien themed Haunt inside the Flight of Fear queue. After seeing Kings Dominion's, it looks flat out ugly.

Dropping objects, or spitting, from the Eiffel Tower is also strictly forbidden. This is also posted.
Sure dropping objects is forbidden. I said couldn't taking pictures and video from the top of the Eiffel Tower also be dangerous? I've seen people up there stick their phones and cameras through the bars to get a clear shot. What if they dropped them? I'd be far more worried about falling cameras from the Eiffel Tower than I would be floating cameras in the log flume. I'm not quite sure how I could hurt someone filming or taking a picture from inside a log.
Race for your Life, Charlie Brown is a ride, is it not? Filming or photography on any ride (except the Eiffel Tower and the Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad) is not permitted on any ride at Kings Island, is it not? End of story.

Kings Island's food is probably a lot healthier than the Bag-O-Crap they serve at any of your friendly neighborhood McDonald's locations.

Obviously, you think you are above the law. This law applies to all rides at Kings Island (omit the Eiffel Tower and the Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad), no matter where you are on the tracks or trough. A penny falling off of Diamondback at 80 mph can hurt a whole lot, much more a 1 lb camera. Ever wonder how a bullet can kill, even though it's incredibly small? The speed.
EDIT: Also, a line from the sign on Adventure Express is about 30- minutes. It would be less if they had three train operation, but whatever.

That is what baffles me. I don't understand how something can somewhat be used when part of a ride, but when not tied to a ride or theme whatsoever anymore, you can't use it at all.

If it was part of a ride which does not exist now, then why do the goddess, the LED's, and the queue (which has no tie whatsoever to a tomb raider) still remain under the contract?

It is apparent that the contract has some wiggle room, as it was lit with uplighting as of last season. The eyes may not be used, but lights can shine upon the goddess.

Wait... Something just hit me. Tomb Raider: The Ride was The Crypt, and The Crypt is no longer a ride. All that is left was theming. Does that mean that the lights, rock work, etc can all be used in something that is related to adventure? Also, what if the props are all split up among different Haunts? Can they be used then?
1 more thing: How is it that Durga can be copyrighted when it is a religious goddess? To me, I think it can be used however Kings Island wishes because it is a god from a religious belief and I don't really think that should be able to be copyrighted. Has anyone ever placed a copyright on the Catholic God?

What ties does the former Crypt queue have to Tomb Raider anymore?
You could just light up the former lava pit LED's and call it a blood pit. How does that have anything to do with Tomb Raider?

That doesn't make sense. Why would you remove items that can be used for potential theming? I'm willing to bet that most things from The Crypt will still stand come Halloween Haunt 2012.
They can still light up Durga, they can still illuminate the LED's in the lava pit, and they can still use the whole entire queue for actual queueing purposes! It makes too much sense to not use what they have.

That's the point. Each park has similar qualities that unite them, but likewise, they have coasters and thrill rides that differentiate them.
