  1. Yeah I'm not sure why some on here are dissapointed in the possibility of this being an Invert? I mean yeah they're outdated, but they are still fun aren't they? I have a feeling this will be a great addition no matter what and you guys are all going to like this.

  2. Doesn't look like this forum changed too much. Great Job to the Administrators though for cleaning up this thread. Anybody here going to Beastbuzz? I plan to attend! Maybe will get an inside scoop of what's to come for 2014. ;)

  3. I have to disagree here. I think adding a B&M Invert or Floorless will bring people back to that area of the park. If I'm part of the general public, I will ride anything that is new even if it is a B&M Invert or Floorless roller coaster. Plus, Kings Island needs a good solid B&M roller coaster no matter what type of roller coaster they bring out. I still am in favor of a Floorless roller coaster. ;)

  4. I'm thinking the announcement for the 2014 ride will be near the mid-to-end of August, as that coincides with Kentucky Kingdoms coaster announcement a bit before and the Six Flags announcements on August 29th as well as much of the industry making announcements before Labor Day.

Wait...Kentucky Kingdom is supposed to make an announcement this year also? I might have to head down there next year if this is a great ride.

  5. Maverick is awesome and Millennium Force is always fun too. I especially like the "new millennium" theming of the ride and I think the following ad explains the theme well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc-q6QQklEs

Where did you find that promo link? I remember watching that when Millennium Force was announced and it gave me the chills of excitement! Since I rode it back in 2000, Millennium Force has been my #1 favorite roller coaster!

  6. ^ So Far Kings Island's single most expensive construction project was S.O.B which is now defunct. If this ride does become the single largest in History for the park, then this means they are totally redeeming themselves. ;)

  7. ^ secondson, just wanted to comment on your thoughts here.

    - The red outlined area for the second image is the currently known construction area for KI Project 2014.

As you can see, a B&M invert is very capable of taking up a lot of land. And don't forget....this is most likely a custom design, which means an invert could very well spread out to fill the red area in the second image, if not extend beyond it.

^ I like that Idea, and I hope they go this route. If they go further than that, they have the chance to make the world's longest Inverted or Floorless in the World. ;)

  8. Hello, first post so please no mean replies. But what your thoughts be if this might be a floorless coaster or possibly an invert?

Don't be shy buddy. I would love to see a Floorless come to Kings Island! That's what I'm rooting for! However, I wouldn't mind seeing an Invert either.

  9. I was watching an old episode of Insane Coaster Wars that had Medusa From Six Flags Discovery Kingdom when I noticed it used a similar triangle footing. So B&M does do those types of footings and could this mean it's a floorless? They used it's on Medusa when it on the dive loop.

You can see those footings for the main dive loop supports and at the bottom of the dive loop.

Oh Please let it be a Floorless! I would be so happy if Kings Island gets a Floorless!
